Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

The long journey home had begun. The three Humans, together with the gnome Supply, had set off to return to Lyveria. The journey was long and in some cases dangerous. But the Three Humans had the blessing of Kron The Undying and Spirit Of The Forest, so they would have nothing to fear... maybe...

Rexxie, the legendary inhabitant of the Primordic Grasslands, is also the most dangerous being in them. A gigantic dinosaur that forgives nothing and no one. If he crosses your path, it certainly won't be a good time. Spirit Of The Forest relegated the Rexxies to the Grasslands, both to defend them from the behaviour of the other inhabitants of Anumun, and to defend the inhabitants of Anumun themselves... especially the Humans, who could do nothing against these gigantic dinosaurs. Their size makes them among the most dangerous beings in the entire Splinterlands. Their teeth are so sharp they can butcher a body in seconds, their claws are like swords. They can destroy entire armies, and in fact in times long past, they were deployed by the authorities of Anumun against the peoples who threatened the Terra Empire. Soon after it was realised that being indomitable beings they were not at all predictable and could not be left alone, hence why they were relegated to the Grasslands, where they could live out their wild lives and cause almost no trouble.

The Three Human Friends continued to walk without facing too much danger. Suddenly, after the intervention of Kron The Undying, it seemed that the Grasslands could no longer hide any problems. Time passed and the goal came closer and closer. Slowly they approached the Southern Gob Hub.

"There's Sinder!" said Finnerick.

"Yes, I see it too," replied Sinder to his friend.

In the distance the Humans began to see the Hub, the protected place where they could stop and rest. True, they could not have rested; the Grasslands always harboured dangers. But the Hub represented the only safe place in those lands inhabited by dangerous creatures.

One began to see the structure: it was impressive. A sort of perched castle with four towers that stood menacingly in the sky. A majestic wall, almost 4 metres high, had the task of defending the structure against any possible danger. The Hub had been built soon after the highest authorities of the Kingdom of Anumun had banished the kingdom's most dangerous creatures to the Grasslands Forests. The purpose was to provide protection for couriers and emissaries during their journeys from one part of the kingdom to another. Crossing the Grasslands was the only way to connect certain cities (such as Lyveria) with the enchanted places of the realm. The Hub was a safe place where emissaries and travellers could stop, although there was always a ban on Humans. It was repeatedly stated that Humans could not enter the Hub because the ban actually extended to all Grasslands. Despite this ban, however, there was a sort of pass. A sort of 'pass' that allowed Human delegates commissioned by the King of Lyveria to take a message to some of the nassime authorities of the Kingdom of Anumun. This special permission was granted with the magical authorities and allowed access to the facility while crossing the Grasslands.

And so Sinder, Finnerick, Ginderuc and the Supply Runner gnome finally made their way to the door of the Hub walls. 

"Holy crap it's huge! How do you enter Sinder?" asked Finnerick.

"Finn, I believe you enter by knocking. Like everywhere in this realm.." said Sinder with a veil of sarcasm. 

" Ha ha ha... Nice Sinder.. I forgot you were also a jester in your spare time." replied Finnerick harshly. 

" Come on stop it Finn, let's knock." said Sinder. 

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. 

For a moment the four listened to a deafening silence, then . As if by magic, the doors of the Hub's wall slowly began to open. 

''Who opened us? Will someone be there? Oh Sinder.. No more strange encounters please..." said Finnerick. 

"Finn rest assured, the opening was automatic and there will be no one inside but us!" said Sinder confidently. 

Sinder was not wrong. The doors opened automatically and there was no creature inside. They were the only ones to benefit from the Hub that day. 

Once the doors were open, the four found themselves in front of a village of sorts. Everything was there: from the paths to the dwellings, from the inn to the armoury. But there was no one inside those premises. Visitors were free to help themselves. 

First the Human Friends entered the inn to have a bite to eat. When they opened the inn's doors, they found a large rectangular table that must have measured at least four metres, laid with every course typical of all the cities of the Kingdom of Anumun. 

"Sinder, there are our typical dishes!" exclaimed Finnerick. 

"That's right Finn..." replied Sinder. 

" I couldn't wait to get back to eating something good, I couldn't go on with bread and magic berries any longer," said Finnerick. 

So the three Humans pounced on all those delicacies and even had the good fortune of getting a few bubbles of good Human wine, nothing like the weird and disgusting potion the Goblins had forced them to drink during their stay-abroad stay in Gobson. 
Supply Runner found his food at Gnome's and was delighted, but could not resist Lyveria's roast pork. A succulent roast pork for them, accompanied by potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Excellent. 

After eating practically binge-worthy, Finnerick told his friends that he wanted to go rest at some hostel in the Hub. So they all decided that it was time for a nap and then after resting they would take a tour of the village to see what it had to offer visitors.

Salve a tutti amici di Splinterlands e di Hive. Ho da poco iniziato questo nuovo progetto in cui racconto storie basandomi sulla Lore di Splinterlands e su mie invenzioni, sia di battaglie che di carte. Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate.

Il lungo viaggio di ritorno a casa era cominciato. I tre Umani, insieme allo gnomo Supply, erano partiti per far ritorno a Lyveria. Il percorso era lungo e in alcuni casi pericoloso. Ma i Tre Umani avevano la benedizione di Kron The Undying e di Spirit Of The Forest, per cui non avrebbero avuto nulla da temere... forse...

Rexxie, il leggendario abitante delle Primordic Grasslands, è anche l'essere più pericoloso di esse. Un gigantesco dinosauro che non perdona niente e nessuno. Se ti incrocia, di sicuro non sarà un bel momento. Spirit Of The Forest relegò gli esemplari di Rexxies nelle Grasslands, sia per difenderli dai comportamenti degli altri abitanti di Anumun, sia per difendere gli abitanti di Anumun stessi... soprattutto gli Umani che nulla potevano contro questi giganteschi dinosauri. La loro stazza li rende tra gli esseri più pericolosi dell'intero Splinterlands. I loro denti sono così affilati da poter macellare un corpo in pochi secondi, le loro unghie sono come spade. Possono distruggere intere armate e infatti in tempi lontanissimi, furono schierati in campo dalle autorità di Anumun contro i popoli che minacciavano l'impero di Terra. Subito dopo ci si rese conto che essendo esseri indomabili non erano affatto prevedibili e non potevano essere lasciati tranquilli, da qui il motivo per cui furono rilegati nelle Grasslands, dove potevano vivere la loro vita selvaggia e non causare quasi nessun problema.

I Tre amici Umani continuarono a camminare senza correre troppi pericoli. All'improvviso, dopo l'intervento di Kron The Undying, sembrava che le Grasslands non potessero più nascondere alcun problema. Il tempo passava e l'obbiettivo si avvicinava sempre di più. Piano piano ci si avvicinava al Southern Gob Hub.

"Eccolo Sinder!" disse Finnerick.

"Si, lo vedo anche io" rispose Sinder all'amico.

In lontananza gli Umani iniziavano a scorgere l'Hub, il luogo protetto dove avrebbero potuto fermarsi e riposare. Vero é che non avrebbero potuto stare tranquillissimi, le Grassland nascono sempre pericoli. Ma l'Hub rappresentava l'unico luogo sicuro in quelle terre abitate da creature pericolose.

Si iniziava a vedere la struttura: era impressionante. Una sorta di castello arroccato con 4 torri che si stanziavano minacciose al cielo. Una cinta muraria maestosa, alta quasi 4 metri, aveva il compito di difendere la struttura contro ogni possibile pericolo. L'Hub era stato costruito subito dopo che le massime autorità del Regno di Anumun avevano rilegato le creature più pericolose del regno nelle Foreste delle Grasslands. L'obbiettivo era quello di fornire protezione ai corrieri e agli emissari durante i loro viaggi da una parte all'altra del Regno. Oltrepassare le Grasslands era l'unico modo per mettere in contatto alcune città (come ad esempio Lyveria) con i luoghi incantati del Regno. L'Hub era un luogo sicuro dove gli emissari e i viaggiatori potevano fermarsi, anche se vigeva sempre il divieto per gli Umani. Più volte é stato ribadito come gli Umani non potessero entrare nell'Hub perché il divieto era in realtà esteso a tutte le Grasslands. Nonostante questo divieto, peró, esisteva una sorta di pass. Una sorta di "lascia-passare" che permetteva ai delegati Umani incaricati dal Re di Lyveria di portare un messaggio a qualcuna delle nassime autorità del Regno di Anumun. Questo permesso speciale era accordato con le autorità magiche e permetteva l'accesso alla struttura durante l'attraversamento delle Grasslands.

Ed ecco che Sinder, Finnerick, Ginderuc e lo gnomo Supply Runner finalmente si recano alle porta delle mura dell'Hub. 

"Porca miseria é mastodontico.. Come si entra Sinder?" chiese Finnerick.

" Finn, credo che si entri bussando.. Come in ogni luogo di questo regno.." disse Sinder con un velo di sarcasmo. 

"ah ah ah... Simpatico Sinder.. Avevo dimenticato che fossi anche un giullare nel tempo libero." rispose duramente Finnerick. 

" Dai smettila Finn, bussiamo." disse Sinder. 

TOC TOC TOC TOC. 

Per un momento i 4 ascoltarono un silenzio assordante, poi.. Come per magia le porte della cinta muraria dell'Hub iniziarono ad aprirsi lentamente. 

" Chi ci ha aperti? Ci sarà qualcuno? Oh Sinder.. Basta incontri strani ti prego..." disse Finnerick. 

"Finn stai tranquillo, l'apertura é stata automatica e dentro non ci sarà nessuno a parte noi!" disse sicuro Sinder. 

Sinder non si sbagliava. Le porte si aprirono in automatico e dentro non era presente alcuna creatura. Erano i soli a beneficiare dell'Hub in quella giornata. 

Una volta aperte le porte, i quattro si trovarono davanti una sorta di villaggio. C'era davvero tutto: dai sentieri alle abitazioni, dalla locanda all'armeria. Ma non c'era nessuno dentro quei locali. I visitatori potevano servirsi liberamente. 

Per prima cosa gli Amici Umani entrarono nella locanda per mangiare un boccone. Aperte le porte della locanda trovarono un grosso tavolino rettangolare che doveva misurare almeno 4 metri imbandito con ogni portata tipica di tutte le città del Regno di Anumun. 

" Sinder, li ci sono i nostri piatti tipici!" esordì Finnerick. 

"Eh già Finn.." rispose Sinder. 

" Non vedevo l'ora di tornare a mangiare qualcosa di buono, non ce la facevo più ad andare avanti con pane e bacche magiche." disse Finnerick. 

Così i 3 Umani si fiondarono su tutte quelle prelibatezze ed ebbero la fortuna anche di farsi qualche bucchierino di buon vino Umano, niente a che vedere con quella pozione stramba e disgutosa che i Goblins avevano costrette a fargli bere durantr il loro soggiorno-rapimento a Gobson. 
Supply Runner trovó le sue cibarie da Gnomo e ne fu felice, non poté peró resistere all'arrosto di Lyveria. Un succulento maiale arrosto tutto per loro, accompagnato da patate e verdura di stagione. Ottimo. 

Dopo aver mangiato praticamente a sbafo, Finnerick disse agli amici di voler andarsi a riposare in qualche ostello dell'Hub. Così tutti insieme decisero che era il tempo di un pisolino e poi dopo essersi riposati avrebbero fatto un giro nel villaggio per vedere cosa aveva da offrire ai visitatori.
