Very insightful post. What I usually do to control my anger is to drink a glass of cold water. Secondly, taking deep breath. Also, I analyze the situation and then the gravity of it is lessened. In general, you can control your emotions, whether positive or negative, by your will power. I think positive emotions , such as showing too much excitement, should also be controlled. Moreover, emotions of sadness or frustration can also be controlled if you just change your environment, such as taking small vacation, or going for a walk.
