Good day freewriters! Here's my entry for the freewrite prompt "tactic ". This 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge was initiated by @mariannewest. You are welcome to take part in this challenge by checking her profile for the daily prompt, as well as @freewritehouse.

Susan dreamed to be seen on TV as a reporter, and a news anchor. Having graduated with flying colors, it didn't take long for her to get accepted on a job she applied in a TV network. She realized that such a job wasn't easy as she expected. 

Some of her colleagues had lost their credibility by giving in to what their bosses asked them to do, i.e. by telling false reports. Others are even paid to manipulate the stories in their reports. Even Susan got some offers so she won't cover some stories, or to twist the stories for someone's advantage. 

Despite all the offers, she rejected them, and tried to do her best not to taint her name. But at one point, her boss called on her to cover an event but with cameras tricking an angle to present that the event is unsuccessful. Aware of the tactics of the company, Susan initially declined what her boss told her to do, but the latter has threatened her she will lose her job. 

On the next day, Susan has given up on her job by resigning. Eventually, she applied as an instructor in a university. There she emphasized the importance of credibility towards her students if they're aiming to work in broadcast and print media.
