# <center>Conclave Arcana Archons: An Initial Look</center>

<div class="text-justify">The Conclave Arcana is here! And along with the new units, we got new Archons (summoners). These new archons feature the new mechanic <b>Bloodline Dominion</b> which allows players to summon specific races of units with granted abilities. Races like Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, Drakoshan etc. can be summoned depending on the archon. And it doesn't even matter what element these summoned creatures are from as long as they belong to the summoned race. In this post, we will have an initial look at the archons and what new things they will bring to the meta. Just be reminded, the stats we will show may be subject to change as they are still in the test server. </div>

## <center>Conclave Arcana Archons</center>

#### <center>Fithe Bladestone</center>

<div class="text-justify">Fithe Bladestone is the Fire Archon with 4 Mana requirement and is a proud Dwarf. It grants +2 Armor to all friendly units ensuring they are protected from Melee and Ranged attacks. It has a Blood Dominion with Dwarves granting Void ability. Void ability halves the damage of Magic attacks which completes the protection of Fithe. Summoned dwarves are not just shielded from physical attack because of the armor but also guarded from magic attacks. Here are some Conclave Arcana dwarves that can be used with Fithe:</div>

<div class="text-justify">Ashen Cindegrim is an opportunistic magic unit that targets weak opponents and gets more powerful when damaged by poison, burn and by allies. Armor and magic protection is good for Ashen as it ensures longevity of aggressive attacks. Inept Healer is a dwarf that heals units in exchange of some max health.  Even though it already has Void, the armor would protect her from physical attacks since her defense is focused on reflecting and dodging magic. Ferrous Brewer is a support melee dwarf that can attack relentlessly. Though not shown here, at max level Ferrous will get not just Relentless ability, but it will have True Strike and Immunity too. </div>

#### <center>Gorgug The Endless</center>

<div class="text-justify">Gorgug The Endless is the Water Archon with 4 Mana requirement and is a savage Orc. It reduces enemy ranged attack by -1. It's Blood Dominion with Orcs grants Enrage ability which increases melee and speed by 50% when its health is not at full capacity. Gorgug's dynamic granting abilities promote channeling rage when damaged by the enemy. Here are some Orcs to summon with Gorgug:</div>

<div class="text-justify">Steppe Stalker is a ranged Orc that can attack in front and slows enemies. It may be affected by Enrage's melee boost, but the speed boost can be taken advantaged of. Thragha is melee Orc with Flank and Life Leech. It will continue draining life force while being empowered by Enrage. Thraghun is a hell of an orc with ranged and melee attack. It can attack at the second position which may not be taking some much damage. But when he does, he can devastate the enemy with poisoned powerful attack.</div>

#### <center>Kaylia Silverleaf</center>

<div class="text-justify">Kaylia Silverleaf is the Earth Archon with 4 Mana requirement and is a graceful Elf. It minimizes enemy magic attack by -1. It's Bloodline Dominion with the Elves is Execute. This is a very powerful ability that attacks the enemy again after the successful attack brought its health to 2 or below. This dominion is surely for Melee Mayhem and Up Close and Personal rulesets. As for the elves with the killer instinct, here are some of them: </div>

<div class="text-justify">Sacrosanct Shanker is a stabbing Elf with Rebirth, Criplle and Divine Protection abilities. This will surely take advantage of Execute as it cuts away enemies health. Taye Loreswift doesn't only attack with the guitar but inspires allies with increased melee attack. Execute will make this card more powerful while attackin at the second position. Aranduriel is a back-stabbing ranged elf with Painforge and Immmunity at her disposal. It may not have any use for Execute but it gives range support at the end of the ranks. </div>

#### <center>Bella Ratajowlski</center>

<div class="text-justify">Bella Ratajowlski is the Life Archon with 4 Mana requirement and is a stunning Ulund. It grants allies with Deflect that nullifies damage from Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Thorns, Return Fire, and Blast splash damage. It's Bloodline Dominion with Ulunds is Shield. This archon is a more defensive approach to battles than offense. This is good for Lost Magic ruleset. Just make sure to include these Ulunds for a more synergistic effect: </div>

<div class="text-justify">Here is the thing about these ulunds, they are powerful on their own but with Deflect and Shield, they are unstoppable. Moribund Arrowbait can re-route ranged attacks to herself and gives true damage to the enemy. It has rebirth so it can resurrect for that one last attack. Stampeding Calf is a cute ulund that attacks from any position despite the fact that it is a melee unit. Runic Skychonk is a badass ulund that attacks with magic and armor. Deflect will ensure no indirect damage can stop her greatness. </div>

#### <center>Razi Clanktrap</center>

<div class="text-justify">Razi Clanktrap is the Death Archon with 4 Mana requirement and a mischievous Gnome. It grants the Close Range ability on allies allowing those Ranged units to attack in the first position. It's Bloodline Dominion with Gnomes grants the ability Painforge which gives them +1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning, or hit by an ally. This is good for Noxious Fumes ruleset. Gnomes are widely known accross Praetoria, here are some of them: </div>

<div class="text-justify">Cavewise Wayfinder is an Ambush master. It immediately attacks enemies before the actual battle starts. Deep Delver is a corrupt healer that attacks from the back with a crossbow. Filthy Scavenger is an opportunistic gnome that ambushes enemies and damages enemies one last time with redemption. Overall, when given with teh ability Painforge, these gnomes will be more powerful as they take damage from poison. </div>

#### <center>Kavor Skarn</center>

<div class="text-justify">Kavor Skarn is one of the Dragon Archon with 3 Mana requirement and is a ruthless Drakoshan. It only has a Bloodline Dominion with Drakoshan granting them +1 Speed. This archon would be a hit in low mana matches and Silenced Summoner ruleset. There aren't much Drakoshans in game yet. So I included Rebellion Drakoshans here:</div>

<div class="text-justify">Songale is a wise drakoshan with Bloodline Tribute which grants allied units of the same bloodline +1 to armor, health, and speed, and +1 power for each shared attack type when this unit dies. Syrenth is from Rebellion that taunts enemies and stuns them. Kei is also from Rebellin that ambushes enemies and reducing their melee after every successful attack. </div>

#### <center>Sheng Xiao</center>

<div class="text-justify">Sheng Xiao is the only Archon that doesn't have a Bloodline Dominion. It is a cunning Dragon with 5 Mana requirement and grants a Summoner tactic of Poison Burst and Corrosive Ward to 2 units. As with typical Dragon mechanic, it is paired with other elements so a lot of units can synergize with this archon. </div>

<div class="text-justify">Bloodline Dominion is the featured mechanic of Conclave Arcana. It gives more dynamics to battle preparations and distinguishes Conclave Arcana from the rest. If this archons are so good, I wonder what the Legendary archons would look like. Anyways that is all for me. Till the next post!</div>
