##### Good Evening.... or it is while I am typing this. I rarely ever post late, a time or two maybe, but it is not my norm. It's good to change things up once in a while.... yes?? ##### I don't have so much new to tell for today. I didn't go to Mom's because her house is a split level and the kitchen and living room are on the single level and all the restrooms are upstairs or downstairs, so I decided I wasn't going to tax my fussy knee that much for today. My knee is feeling better, thankfully, so hopefully if nothing goes south during this coming week, I will risk it again next weekend. She was going to come to my house, but several things are going on and she didn't feel like getting out. She called to see if it was ok if she did not come over and of course I told her it was. Sometimes I don't want to go out either, so I get it. ##### I made this little piece this evening on a 6x8 canvas board. The last several posts I did that included art had mostly "scrappy" pieces and I thought I should do one that was not just made out of the scraps laying around on my desk. I have made SO many collage papers in the last month or 6 weeks that I have a good stash built up. I thought I should start with some newly made papers this time, but you know, now there are scraps of these on the desk too! That's the way of collaging. ##### Not complaining! ##### I also didn't mean to make a piece that was supposed to do anything but be abstract and it is, but when it was done, from a few steps back, my mind wanted to turn it into surfboards on a purple beach scene. Of course, it could just be me.  ##### I made this little animation from the open page of photos I took along the way. I couldn't see them close up while I was choosing them and somehow got one that's a little blurry next to last, but I wasn't in the mood to start over, so I didn't.  ##### I made that also so it could lead instead of "This Is How I Cleaned My Art Table Last Night" piece. LOL... More scraps, but gluing them into my play journal was much more fun than sorting all the pieces by color and putting them in their containers. After they were on and my table was clean, I added a chair for you in case you get dizzy looking at it and need to sit down. # 😂  ##### I'll leave you with this photo. My youngest niece became engaged this weekend. Her smitten fiance pulled out all the stops and had the moment captured forever. Even a bird showed up for the perfect photo.  ##### Ok, that's enough excitement for now. ##### My weekend is nearly over and I don't look forward to having to work another week before another weekend gets here.
