What happens when that same journalist says those lies in a court of law (under oath)? What happens when journalists arouse extreme feelings of HATRED among certain ideological fanatics and extremists? The answer to that is in 99.99% of cases: NOTHING. However, maybe, just maybe a so called journalist who abused their position of responsibility to push certain political and ideological propaganda, lies and outright fearmongering, yes, just maybe one such well "awarded" journalist may have to take responsibility for her abuse of power and responsibility, imo "crimes against humanity" as what she did and does is no different to what Goebbels did during the NAZI regime. However, let's see if a precedent can be set here and if the truth will prevail and that the victims of these types of propaganda pushers and political activists may from one day in the near future have the ability to be justly compensated. or MAYBE NOT.... To be totally frank, I would be shocked if a person who is called a journalist actually has to take responsibility for their work!
