# Lock Down Day : 14 : One Week To Go... I Hope.. lol

Hey you, Whats up? Hows your heart?
Here in the somewhat lately cloudy location that is Vietnam, we are entering day 14 of the lockdown. One week to go before it should hopefully be over... I say hopefully as is a chance they may extended for another week. Somewhere in the back my mind I kind of suspect that they will, but we have to hold on to the belief that's going to come to an end.
One of my favorite books is "Man's Search for Meaning" by author by Viktor E. Frankl (On Amazon [HERE](https://amzn.to/2Y2n5cZ)). This book tells about the time that Viktor, a psychologist and also Jewish practitioner, was imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp. The book talks about why some prisoners opted to end their life, while others kept fighting until eventually they were rescued.
Not trying to draw any parallels between the horrific natures of what Viktor went through in my situation. Not all - not in the least. More so that Viktor talks about the people who survived. The reason why they kept holding on that they believed that everything would come to an end and things would get better afterwards. This belief, this knowledge within them was a stone that they built a foundation of fortitude upon, giving them staying power. The prisoners who opted to end their lives, lost belief that the horrific nature of their reality would change.
I'm a firm believer that we must, during hardships, during difficult times, hold onto the idea and knowledge that these times are not forever. Times will change and get better. The rainy days will not be rainy forever, the sun will come out again, we will have picnics again. And is in this knowledge and this truth, we gain strength to keep going.
Dear readers, I'm not sure where you are in the world, but I know you have difficult times you are going through as well. Build the fortitude and understand things will change. Accumulate strength, and keep fighting!
Well enough about that ramble, that actually went on for a few more paragraphs than I initially intended. I was going to talk about how I am going crazy and stuff, but I think that's a much better introduction to this post. And yes, I see you Greg, I know you just want to see the photos you put down your hand. Let's get started.

The many sights I see in my everyday life The sky is a slate blue color, burnt clouds as they pour out I see. The way the light of the sun bounces off the ever changing and smooth texture of the sky I see. The way each time, I watch, the sky fills with the biggest and brightest of stars It all makes me feel so small and alive I see.
Octopus hates how the sky looks. There are too many clouds. It makes it difficult to see what is happening. It's almost like the sky was eating the mountain. Octopus really wishes the sky wasn't so cloudy, so it could see what is happening.
I am falling far, far onto the surface And, like one of those cartoon characters, I bounce once and then I again land I am frightened though I laugh It is not a pleasant sensation I'm sinking fast and my heart is thumping I am falling into the moonlight

# Photo manipulation montage x 3
Below are series of three photos taken of the building first photo was just unsaturated. Look pretty futuristic, so I did a little bit of magic.
Flip-flopping cap Dropping, change saturation to addition, and now it's looking like some cyberpunk goth scene, but we're not done yet.
We slap on a lens blur and at a bit of a vignette, put some overlay washes of light colors along with textures, and Botta a boom bada bing, Bob's your uncle and this is the final picture.

for the last photo for today, I'll leave you with this cute puppy dog. Her and her human Joined @kooza and "THIS" Human, for a pooping the other day. Just look at how damn cute that dog is. OMG.

Dear Friend, I hope that you're feeling better now. I'll be sad to see you go for now but I'll be happy knowing you'll be back soon, Perhaps even tomorrow to see some more photos and story stuff. I'm sorry to be such a party pooper but I need to go home now, and by needing to go home, I mean work on other projects. Be safe and take care.
