             Someone made a comment about this and I realized it was very true. We were talking about accepting people no matter how different from us they are and I mentioned how the ugly duckling eventually got accepted but he was like,yeah but not before he became beautiful. 
             That's very true. The ugly duckling is actually a bad premise for acceptance and loving yourself, yet this is how the world works actually. High school movies, teen novels, they are all about the same thing. The main character has to change fundamental aspects of themselves to become more popular and fit in.

This is my favorite picture of this particular tale. The swan is within us all. You just have to see it and love yourself and believe in yourself. Be happy with who you are. Don't depend on popular opinion to determine if you are beautiful or not. Don't try to change yourself to fit into the popular crowd. **You are perfect just the way you are**.
