I work in the financial industry, in my work environment we create  and store customer data in financial cloud storage and sometimes in hard copies. The security of this customer data is our main problem and our concern, the majority of our storage areas are centralized institutions such as google drive and one drive where we store our data online, our hard copy data is used to store temporary files that will later be transferred into the cloud storage which is centralized.  

I have following closely blockchain technology storage solutions which plans to decentralized storage environments to improve security of the data and offer a cost-effective solution to the existing problems faced in the centralized cloud storage environments. One of the exciting projects using the power of blockchain technology to offer solutions in financial industry centralized cloud storage environments is Recordkeeper.

It is estimated that th internet of things will bring over 20 billion connected devices that require storage facilities to store their database. This revolution faces a challenge of data bleaches from centralized data storage organizations such as my current storage provider google drive and OneDrive. The centralized data storage facilities are a risk if the realization of the internet of things come into play.  

The decentralized environment also faces a challenge when it comes to specialization of the blockchain networks tailored to suit the needs of its users, yes! Blockchain is a solution but we need specialized networks that are tailored towards specific needs and are custom to them to improve efficiency of work flow.

Recordkeeper is one of the blockchain projects offering solutions of decentralizing storage services through distributed data across network of connected nodes. Records keeper platform allows structural storage of data to improve the security of the data stored on its network.

As an individual working in the finance field where businesses are expandng globally, and as we require more storage services, I believe records keeper is one of the solutions and the innovative project will solve our financial industry as we are flooded with more transactions that need tailored and custom touch. As the financial revolution takes place the financial sector needs a solution and I believe the development team behind records keeper efforts will offer solutions towards the improvement of the industry and we should rethink of adopting blockchain technology especially recordkeeper as it is tailored to offer us solutions in a large organization, medium organization and individual users.
