 Good morning, my dear Hivers! Last week, I went to ***Bai hotel*** to attend a two day training program about data analytics.  I'm impressed by the interior of the hotel, a combination of circular entrance and edgy buildings. Their elevator is a top notch too as it require to tapped your room key for floors that had the amenities such as the pool and gym. We didn't say overnight in the hotel though. So we were only allowed in the function room.  Our topic for this training is about data analytics, specifically on using charts and graphs to better visualize data. The speaker also introduced some softwares, such as *power BI*, which helps simplify and improve the visuals of our dataset. As an accounting analyst, this is really helpful since we had a lot of financial data needed to be presented monthly.  Unlimited coffee and tea is readily available on the sides too.  What I enjoyed most is the abundant food served in the function room. For our morning snacks, we were welcomed with a plate of fries and a sandwich. I especially enjoyed the fries.  The main course for day 1 is this huge serving of fried noodles, back ribs, salmon fish, and a bulalo soup. They also served cheesecake for dessert.   The afternoon snack consist of tortilla wrap and a salad. This I did not enjoy much.  Aside from the information overload we experienced by the end of the day, our stomachs were literally full too. Some opted to take out their meals. For day 2, the activities were alot more complicated as we have to identify certain relationships in the datasets. There were errors in the sample data too, which made the training more difficult. By the end of each activity, we had to present our output by group. This part was the most challenging for me because aside from the fact that I'm already having difficulty with the activity, we have present it to everyone. I also realized that my presentation and talking skills are really poor, something that seriously needs improvement. Food was still abundant in day 2, almost similar serving as day 1.
