***What I Know For Sure*** is a compilation of Oprah's articles from Sunday's newspaper. The idea of the whole segment stemmed from a random question she got from a fellow interviewer "What do you know for sure?" that left her pondering about even 16 years later.

After reading the title of her book, it also made me ask the same question to myself. What do I know for sure? Truth is, I barely know anything that's truly certain. Most of the time, I just pretend like I know something when in fact I'm really not sure.

Lately, I realized that life is so fleeting. I know that we won't be here forever. Our jobs, the people we surround ourselves with, five to ten years from now will not be the same anymore. But it's hard to do the essential things of life when we're always faced with the urgent tasks.

This book allowed me to shift my focus into what truly matters. It made me realize that everything is temporary and we should be grateful on what we have instead of thinking of what we lack.

My dear Hivers, I hope you choose to be happy with the life you are given; to find things that makes you happy even in the mundane and ordinary things.

I'm not yet half the pages of this book but it certainly gave me alot of realizations. Thank you, Oprah!
