Muy buenas a todos los jugadores de @splinterlands  esta es mi tercera participación en el evento semanal de [Splinterlands Art Contest Week 241!](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/splinterlands-art-contest-week-241), asi que sin mas preámbulos indague cartas femeninas y pues esta me llamo bastante la atencion  <div class="phishy">Obsidian</div>.

Al comienzo tenia mis dudas ya que es un diseño de perfil y pues es complicado imaginar el resto del dibujo, pero bueno, también quería practicar un estilo similar a la carta, como el tipo de características del personaje.


Inicialmente hice algunos bocetos en lapicero y hoja, pero no salían como imaginaba, mas que todo por la limitación del campo visual de perfil,y pues envié unas 3 hojas arrugadas de bocetos a la papelera.

Así que pues para tener un rango completo recurrí a buscar poses de referencia (libres de uso) en Deviantart.
Que básicamente son personas reales que se fotografían para que los dibujantes usen las posturas en sus trazos.

Cosa que tampoco es nada facil, pues hay un mar de imagenes y buscar 1 por 1, de forma manual la imagen que se asemeje a la posición de Obsidiana, pues es escarbar con mucha paciencia.

Luego de varias poses, vi unas 2 que posiblemente cumplian su prometido, asi que recurri a usar la referencia para armar el esqueleto base del dibujo.

Algo en la imagen no me convencía, asi que voltee esta en modo espejo para lograr la pose deseada.


Luego procedo a abrir el  Paint Tool Sai y elaborar el lineart, intente en lo posible respetar el diseño de la carta y dandole algunas características propias al trazo.

pero cuando llegue a la parte del cabello, me bloquee, pues jamas habia dibujado rastas, cosa que me llevo algunos intentos, (hasta que analice que solo es cabello hacia atras, pues la corona de la cabeza no le deja dar otra dirección al cabello.

>But when I arrived to the part of the hair, I blocked myself, because I had never drawn dreadlocks, which took me some attempts, (until I analyzed that it is only hair backwards, because the crown of the head does not allow to give another direction to the hair.

Los colores iniciales en azul,(que es la ropa que va debajo de la túnica) la verdad daban un tono demasiado frió y pues algo en ese matiz no terminaba de convencerme.

Así que pase de azul a un tono verde para resaltar aun mas la silueta de la Chica llamada obsidiana.

>So I switched from blue to a green tone to highlight even more the silhouette of the girl called obsidian.

# Verde / green

Otro punto que me consumió bastante tiempo, es el cetro mágico, ya que posee muchos tonos de colores, aclaro que al usar mouse pues me limite a usar capas separadas y mas lineart para dar esos toques de los brillos

Cabe decir que la tunica era muy oscura, asi que me replantee la idea de usar el color de luz (en la misma carta) para asi resaltar detalles (como si la enfocaran con una luz fluorecente).

Añadí también pequeños detalles como las pecas que van en el rostro, los brazos y el cuerpo, asi que puede que para apreciarlos mejor debas hacer zoom en la imagen del resultado de abajo.

Y pues ya que estaba añadiendo puntos, puse algunos de color claro para demarcar las mangas del traje y resaltar aun mas el vestuario .

Fue un proceso bastante interesante y pues me sentí satisfecho al plasmar un angulo distinto al personaje Obsidiana. 
Se muy bien que no son trazos muy profesionales, pero me agrada respetar el diseño de arte de la carta original, así como todo lo que pueda reflejar la personalidad de la peleadora en si.

>It was quite an interesting process and I felt satisfied to capture a different angle to the Obsidian character. 
I know very well that they are not very professional strokes, but I like to respect the art design of the original card, as well as everything that can reflect the personality of the fighter herself.
