**"These men of power, are losing control by the hour, and this is the time, this is the place!"** 

Yes indeed, despite being years old, this classic by Disturbed still carries so much truth within its lyrics, and now is still the time to stand up and begin taking back our true power which can only be found within. One of the few more "mainstream" artists I respect for their outspoken passion for justice, peace, and bold political incorrectness, this particular song is still one of my favorites from Disturbed.  They have always had a penchant for speaking out against the oppressive systems run by the warmongering men of power that humanity is currently subject to. But that is not the subject of this post, which I will now return to..

The men of power (global elite) *are* losing control by the hour, the mainstream media is losing credibility with every major story that comes out, and the complex system of oppression seems to be hanging on by just a thread, coming closer every day to its inevitable demise. And yet it still keeps hanging on, because the people still aren't standing up in large enough numbers, still too divided amongst ourselves by politics/religion/race/nationality/etc. Now is most certainly the time for humanity to throw off the invisible shackles of fear and division which have been foisted upon us from these loveless men of power in their bid to farm us for our energy and slowly suck away our lives to enrich their own. But it doesn't have to be this way!

We were born into this time in history for a reason. We all who are alive on this earth today have the opportunity to do what few before us have ever had the courage to do, or the knowledge to do effectively enough to succeed, or the unity within humanity to achieve on a large scale - to take back our true Power from the men of power whose power is but an illusion, for their power derives from our consent. 

We can continue to live our lives as normal little corporate slaves, happy living the illusion, or we can awake to the reality around us and become angry at the system, and complain about how horrible it is and how there is nothing we can do to change it, because it's just too much power we are up against. Or, we can take the third path, the narrow way, the road far less traveled; and after waking up to all the orchestrated deception and division we can further realize that all we have is what we have been given, and recognize this is enough, and begin making this world one worth living in and fighting for.  

We can stand up, and start showing just where are lives are going, rather than sitting back and watching as life happens to us, as the case may be for most of us. We can start ACTING in revolutionary ways, we can begin thinking even further outside of the box, and then we can create whatever world we envision and work towards. Complaining will get us nowhere, no matter how bad things become. 

We are all stuck in this land of confusion together, and while it seems to get worse and crazier by the day, this too is a sign that the men of power are acting out of desperation to keep their grip on the minds of the masses, and the matrix control grid functioning. Once we free ourselves from the division and fear, we become their worst enemy, and the system will fall; for it is only still functioning now because enough people are still blinded by the fear, division and hatred programmed into their minds by this very same control system. 

Every single day, we all have a choice: Keep living the way we have been as we watch life roll by like a play or a movie (like most of us), or make radical changes in our life and stand up and begin creating the world we want to see (so few of us). If we (humanity) are as a people to get out of this alive, many of us will have to become the change we want to see, instead of doing practically nothing but talking about how bad it is and how impossible it is to change it. If you and I truly want change, you and I are gonna have to get off our butts and be the change we want to see. 

People have many excuses as to why they shouldn't stand up and act. So I ask.. If not now, then when? And if not you, then who? It's time to stand up America, and set ourselves free!

United in love, for truth, someday humanity shall all be free. And that freedom is just one simple choice away. And I believe we have entered the age where more and more people have already begun, and will continue to make that difficult but wonderfully liberating choice.
