Some Steemit users did not seem to get the platform. They are hooked to Facebook group pages for "Follow for follow" and "Upvote for upvote" scheme. This is a traditional system of a blogging platform where **connections** with other users are the most important thing which users consider - ***"Not here"***, fellas.

I've tried Bubblews before, and the concept is different. The system is totally different from Steemit. Having a value of ***fix $0.01 per upvote (like)***, ***$0.01 per comment***, and ***$0.01 per share***. So having an active and established connection among users is the best technique aside from the quality of the content. The more you have connections and friends, the greater payout you get in return of your upvotes(likes) too. Plus (they rely on ads as their income) and a more vulnerable security system, the site shutdown.

### Though connections and followers are still one of the important factors to achieve success in Steemit platform, there are a lot of things to consider why those schemes don't fit the system :

- **Upvote value depends on Steem Power.**<br> Most of the **users** who participated in that scheme are those users who has **very low Steem Power** (an assured $0.01 - $0.10 per upvote maybe?). They are hungry for upvotes. They are hungry for a bigger value for their posts. With this scheme, I'm pretty sure they'll leave the platform. They cannot earn much from it. They won't earn upvotes from whales, they will even **FLAG** it!<br><br>
- Maximum full upvotes per user is ten (10).<br> As soon as it exceeds, your voting power will decrease. An initiative to prevent abuse of upvotes. This has been one of the main upvote of Hardfork19.. ***Literally, this will stopped the abusers!***<br><br> 
- **Dead Followers.** <br> Since they follow you for that useless purpose, they really aren't your asset. They will soon drop you, and you will lose contact with them. They will look for other victims, following them again and become dead later.<br><br>

- **Write quality content post. Focus on this!** <br>Create a blog that gives them helpful information, entertain them, engage their thoughts, or any content that deserves their upvotes. Be shocked on the results, ***whales*** will lift you up, providing your high rewards by their upvotes. Be patient on it, always be consistent in writing quality contents. Soon, you'll reap what you saw. <br>Another thing in writing quality content is beautifying it by using **Markdown Techniques**, use it properly to make your blogs presentable.<br><br>
- **Engage in Community talks, hot and trending posts**<br>Read their contents and share your views about it. Of course, your comment should relate on what the article is. In that way, they see you appreciate their post and you value their efforts. You will gain recognition in engaging your views. They will learn or you will learn - plus you'll get some rewards when they upvoted your comments! Commenting on posts are one of the ways to earn here in Steemit, aside from posting blogs. This is the only way to earn in this platform aside from ***contests*** which are only minimal.<br><br>
- **Follow deserving users.**<br> Follow them and read their blogs. Learn from it and apply the learning to your next blog. It maybe tips for writing quality content, or teachings about life, or anything that helps you feel better. I'll not mention great authors here but make sure to find them out! <br><br>
- **Do not commit Mistake!**<br> Better avoid attacking someone, or committing any forms of violence here. You'll surely get a lot of flags! Also, avoid ***Plagiarism*** - our contents are the main brand of Steemit. This is the raw material of the platform. Try to avoid these things to maintain your reputation and prevent your account to be destroyed by the users of Steemit. 

### There are a lot of things, that's why you need to look on great authors to find them out. Look on trending posts, as they were the posts that poured love and recognition from the users.
