# Explosive Weaponry

This week we're going to look at the Explosive Weaponry condition, which means that all of our creatures will have the Blast ability, a really, really good ability. In these conditions what we will try to look for is to protect ourselves from this explosion attack (either with some armor or with a second card with the Reflection Shield ability) and we will also look for speed to try to attack before the opponent does and maximize the options to dodge the enemies attacks.

In this case the battle conditions were Briar Patch, Noxious Fumes, and Explosive Weaponry. It is a 26 mana battle where only the Life Splinter can be used.

**Summoner - Grandmaster Rathe**

In this case, he is the only summoner of life that I have raised to the Diamond level. Despite the easy choice of summoner for this battle it is still a very good option for Explosive Weaponry battles, because it gives us an armor point and magic attacks must first lower the shield before doing damage to life.

**1- Pelacor Conjurer**

It's the tank I use the most when playing Live and mana is low. It has a mana cost of 2, so it's ideal. Good health, good speed, flying, with the ability to dodge magic, reflect, and Divine Shield.

**2- Djinn Renova**

In this case I have looked for a second card with a good amount of life that also has the Triage ability, which means that it will heal the creatures of the second line.

**3- Adelade Brightwing**

One of my favorite cards from the Chaos Legion edition. Perfect for these conditions because the poisoning does not affect it, it also adds a point of speed and will regenerate the armor to some of my cards. It also has the ability to revive the first creature that dies, which will cause it to not be poisoned once revived.

Another very good card from the Life splinter. It will heal the first card, which I hope will help make this starting Pelacor a tough card to take down.

**5- Soul Fiend**

In many battles where there are Noxious Fumes conditions and we have a card that revives, perhaps we don't want to use a card that we know will die quickly, because we spend this resurrection that removes the poison with an "unimportant" card. However, in this case I decide to play it because it also adds a point of speed that will help me a lot to attack first and dodge some attacks.

> En muchas batallas donde hay las condiciones de Noxious Fumes y tenemos una carta que revive quizá no nos interesa utilizar una carta que sabemos que va a morir rápidamente, porqué gastamos esta resurrección que nos quita el veneno con una carta "poco importante". No obstante en este caso decido jugarla porqué además nos suma un punto de velocidad que me ayudará mucho a atacar primero y esquivar algunos ataques.

# My Battle

In this battle, the rival's strategy has been to use a summoner that also adds an armor point to all creatures and also adds a point of speed. He has used a second card with the Reflection Shield ability, which prevents it from taking damage from the Blast. However, he has put a card with the ability of Taunt in the middle of his creatures, which I think is not a very good idea in a battle with Explosive Weaponry because in this case there are two adjacent creatures that will take damage from Blast (yes, one of them they have Reflection Shield, but the other one doesn't). I think in his case it would have been better to use this creature in the last or first position, but never in the middle.


> En esta batalla la estrategia del rival ha sido utilizar un invocador que también suma un punto de armadura a todas las criaturas y además suma un punto de velocidad. Ha utilizado una segunda carta con la habilidad de Reflection Shield, lo que evita que ésta sufra daño por el Blast. No obstante ha puesto una carta con la habilidad de Taunt en medio de sus criaturas, lo que creo que no es muy buena idea en una batalla con Explosive Weaponry porqué en este caso hay dos criaturas adyacentes que recibirán daño por Blast (sí que una de ellas tiene Reflection Shield, pero la otra no). Creo que en su caso habría sido mejor utilizar esta criatura en la última o en la primera posición, pero nunca en una posición intermedia.

At the end of the first round I finished off a rival creature thanks to Exploit damage. On the other hand, my creatures have practically not been affected by the rival attacks because the Pelacor Conjurer has been able to dodge the 3 attacks that have been launched at it.

In this round the Pelacor Conjurer has received the 3 attacks that have been thrown at it, but thanks to the ability of Magic Reflect it has been able to finish off another rival creature. In my case, thanks to the Healing abilities and regenerating the shield, I continue with my creatures with a good amount of life.

In this round I have finished with his Taunt, which has improved the adjacent creatures, despite this the opponent only has one creature that can attack, and with the poison I don't think I will have a problem for winning the battle.

In this round I have had a casualty due to the poison, but the opponent has two creatures with a single point of life that will die right at the beginning of the round. I still have three creatures and one of them will be regenerating shield, so it is only a matter of time before winning the battle.

> En esta ronda he tenido una baja debido al veneno, pero el rival tiene a dos criaturas con un único punto de vida que morirán justo empezar la ronda. Yo me quedaré con tres criaturas y una de ellas irá regenerando escudo, así que es solo cuestión de tiempo acabar ganando la batalla.

In this round the poison has killed 3 creatures, 2 of them were from the opponent and one was mine. His one card can't do anything against my remaining creatures. In 2 rounds I will win the battle.

Finally my Adelade has lowered the last life point that the Venator had, giving me the victory of the battle.

## Conclusions

The truth is that my strategy has worked very well, I have increased my speed and attacking first, which has also allowed me to dodge a few rival attacks. I also had a very balanced lineup defensively, with armor regen, tank heal, and heal from a back lane creature. Apart from this, I think that on the part of the rival it has not been very successful to put a card with the ability of Taunt in the middle of the creatures, which has allowed me to finish off two rival cards while this Taunt was alive.

> La verdad es que mi estrategia ha funcionado muy bien, he potenciado la velocidad y el atacar primero, cosa que además me ha permitido esquivar unos cuantos ataques rivales. Además disponía de una alineación muy compensada defensivamente, con regeneración de escudo, curación del tanque y curación de una criatura de la segunda línea. A parte de esto creo que por parte del rival no ha sido muy acertado poner una carta con la habilidad de Taunt en medio de las criaturas, cosa que me ha permitido acabar con dos cartas rivales mientras este Taunt estaba vivo.
