I don't know why I started watching this movie yesterday, and I think that if I had known what I was going to see, I wouldn't have seen it at that moment, it affected me so much that I even had very weird and heavy dreams that didn't let me sleep, or rest well, especially because of what I felt watching the movie, but nothing of all the bad things I felt, or what happened crossed my mind, prevents me from loving it, because yes, I came to love this movie no matter how horrible, raw, and graphic it is, and I say horrible in a good way because it is a good movie, but that does not take away the feeling that it is horrible, I hope you understand me because I do not know how else to explain it.
Ling is a very simple movie, but that does not take away that it is too good, we will see 2 policemen one with experience and some inexperience trying to find a murderer of women, who cuts their left hands, has already several weeks killing, cutting hands, and still can not find it already has several victims, I think there are 3, and all this is going to be related or in some way will be related to the expert policeman called Cham Lau, and in this union of different stories of people who do not even know what is happening, we will be involved in a tornado of emotions, sensations and very graphic scenes that can only make us vomit.

No sé por qué comencé a ver esta película el día de ayer, y creo que si hubiera sabido lo que iba a ver, no la hubiera visto en ese momento, me afectó tanto que incluso llegué a tener sueños muy raros y pesados que no me dejaron dormir, ni descansar bien, sobretodo porlo que sentí viendo la película, pero nada de todo lo malo que sentí, o qué pasó cruzó por mi mente, evita que la ame, porque sí, llegué a amar esta película sin importar lo horrible, cruda, y gráfica que sea, y digo horrible en el buen sentido, pues es una buena película, pero eso no le quita la sensación de que sea horrible, espero que me entiendan porque no sé de qué otra forma explicarlo.
Ling es una película muy simple, pero eso no le quita que sea demasiado buena, vamos a ver a 2 policías uno con experiencia y unos inexperiencia tratando de encontrar a un asesino de mujeres que les corta la mano izquierda, tiene ya varias semanas asesinando, cortando manos, y siguen sin encontrarlo ya tiene varias víctimas, creo que son 3, y todo esto va a estar relacionado o en cierta forma va a tener relación con el policía experto que se llama Cham Lau, y en esta Unión de historias distintas de personas que ni siquiera saben qué está sucediendo nos veremos envueltos en un tornado de emociones, de sensaciones y de escenas muy gráficas que sólo pueden llegar a hacernos vomitar.
If I had been extremely sensitive yesterday watching this movie I would have cried and vomited without a doubt, it is horrible, I love it, but I would never see it again, and this because I will never forget it, it was engraved in my mind and nothing will take it away from there, that is, in general terms, this is a very simple movie, I already told you, 2 cops chasing a killer, and that's it, that's the plot, there is no mystical undertone that changes the direction of what we are seeing, no, it is completely linear, you know what is going to happen, yes, you know what is going to happen, it is completely predictable in many things, but not in others, and it is in those things that are not predictable that is the horrible magic of this movie.
I have the need and I must talk about my eternal love for things in black and white, although considering this, I have seen very few series and movies in black and white, current ones, at least, because if we talk about the beginnings of cinema, everything was in black and white, and aha, there's nowhere to grab, and I love this too much, because if this movie was in color I would have really vomited, there are scenes that are too raw that I could only bear, in my eternal sensitivity, to see them because they were in black and white, in a way that allows me to separate what I feel from what I'm seeing, and not only differentiate them, but it managed to let my feeling for what I'm seeing pass through me without it staying in me and affecting me too much, if you understand that.

Si hubiera estado extremadamente sensible el día de ayer viendo esta película hubiera llorado y hubiera vomitado sin lugar a dudas, es horrible, la amo, pero no la volvería a ver nunca, y esto porque nunca la llegaré a olvidar, quedó grabada a fuego en mi mente y nada la quitara de ahí, o sea, en términos generales, esta es una película muy simple, ya se los dije, 2 policías persiguiendo a un asesino, y ya, esa es la trama, no hay algún trasfondo místico que llegue a cambiar la dirección de lo que estamos viendo, no, es completamente lineal, se sabe lo que va a pasar, sí, ya sabe lo que va a pasar, es completamente predecible en muchas cosas, pero en otras no, y es en esas cosas que no son predecibles que está la magia horrible de esta película.
Tengo la necesidad y debo hablar de mi amor eterno por las cosas en blanco y negro, aunque teniendo en cuenta esto, he visto muy pocas series y películas en blanco y negro, actuales, al menos, porque si hablamos de los principios del cine, todo era en blanco y negro, y ajá, no hay para donde agarrar, y amo demasiado esto, porque si esta película estuviera a color hubiera vomitado de verdad, hay escenas demasiado crudas que sólo pudo soportar, en mi sensibilidad eterna, verlas porque estaban en blanco y negro, en cierta forma eso me permite separar lo que siento de lo que estoy viendo, y no sólo diferenciarlos, sino que logró dejar mi sentir por lo que estoy viendo pasar a través de mí sin que quede en mí y me afecte demasiado, si es que lo entienden.
I usually have a lot of problems with the acting when watching Asian movies, and this movie was no exception, but it only happened once, it was when Cham Lau chases Wong To, damn, that chase was one of the most stressful and horrible things to watch for me, first of all, because I didn't understand the reasons he had to be chasing her, and that's because until that moment we didn't have any, we didn't know why he was doing that, then through flashbacks of a situation in which both were involved, only when we see everything that happened is that we understand why and we will no longer know who to feel sympathy with or whose side to take, her side being chased and almost killed by him, or his side that has some very good sentimental and emotional reasons that lead him to chase her and want to kill her, want to see her dead, feu horrible, I love it.
Another one of my favorite things about this movie is how being in black and white, and depriving you of colors, textures, visual things, they use a different sense to get to you, they use smells to create the sensations that we normally have using sight, and I don't know, you guys but the sense of smell affects me more than the sense of sight, and even though I wasn't smelling what was happening on screen, I was imagining it, and the feeling of disgust was too much for me, I mean, 45% of the movie, at least that percentage, I think, is going to be full of garbage, in black and white, but the amount is so much that it is impossible not to imagine that smell and feel retching, I marvel how they played with that aspect in this movie, which I think is something they do very little, because as it is a movie or a series, they make everything visual, or auditory, in that case, but in this case they deprived us of the colors, of that feeling that they provoke us, and most of the time the main sense that we will be using is to imagine smells, and it's incredible.

Suelo tener muchos problemas con la actuación al ver películas asiáticas, y esta película no fue la excepción, pero sólo pasó una vez, fue cuando Cham Lau persigue a Wong To, joder, esa persecución fue una de las cosas más estresantes y horribles de ver para mí, en primer lugar, porque no entendía las razones que tenía él para estar persiguiéndola a ella, y es que hasta ese momento no teníamos ninguna, no sabíamos por qué estaba haciendo eso, entonces a través de flashbacks de una situación en la que ambos estuvieron involucrados, sólo cuando vemos todo lo que sucedió es que entendemos el por qué y ya no sabremos con quien sentir simpatía o de qué lado ponernos, del lado de ella al ser perseguida y casi asesinada por él, o del lado de él que tiene unas muy buenas razones sentimentales y emocionales que lo llevan a perseguirla y querer matarla, querer verla muerta, feu horrible, me encanta.
Otra de mis cosas favoritas de esta película es como al ser en blanco y negro, y privarte de los colores, de las texturas, de las cosas visuales, usan un sentido diferente para llegar a ti, usan los olores para crear las sensaciones que normalmente tenemos usando la vista, y no sé, ustedes pero el sentido del olfato me afecta más que el sentido de la vista, y aunque no estaba oliendo lo que estaba pasando en pantalla, lo imaginaba, y la sensación de asco era demasiado para mí, o sea, el 45% de la película, al menos ese porcentaje, creo yo, va a estar lleno de basura, en blanco y negro, pero la cantidad es tanta que es imposible no imaginarse ese olor y sentir arcadas, me maravilla como jugaron con ese aspecto en esta película, que creo es algo que hacen muy poco, porque como es una película o una serie, todo lo hacen visual, o auditivo, en tal caso, pero en este caso nos privaron de los colores, de esa sensación que nos provocan, y la mayoría de las veces el sentido principal que vamos a estar usando es imaginar olores, y es increíble.
I would have wanted to put more graphic images in this review, but no, I got images of the cut hands, of the dead bodies, but I did not want to put them, I did not give me the stomach, and it is that it still affects me to this movie, there is a specific scene that is where we see the image below, that prop deer in the middle of that hallway completely disastrous, I will not say what happens during this scene because it would be spoiler, but the trauma it left on me was too much and here I have my eyes watering remembering again what I saw there, because despite how horrible it was, how disastrous, how evil that scene was, it was perfect, that is, in all the disaster that is this movie, in the apparent disaster, because it is not at all, but in that organized disaster that is this movie, we do not know whether to admire the movie itself or feel repulsion for what we are seeing, and I admire this movie because it fulfills its mission perfectly.
I admire the film and feel repulsion at the same time, I can't separate these things, but I know that there are people who find it hard to do so, very sensitive people like me, but people who lack that logical side that often helps me to separate feelings from logic, so I don't recommend to those people to see this film, because although it may seem simple at first, it will become more and more visually aggressive, it will be stronger and stronger, it will make you want to vomit, and although I did not vomit I had the feeling and the desire to vomit many times, it was horrible, something completely admirable.

Hubiera querido poner imágenes más gráficas en esta reseña, pero no, conseguí imágenes de las manos cortadas, de los cuerpos muertos, pero no quise ponerlas, no me dio el estómago, y es que me sigue afectando a esta película, hay una escena en específico que es donde vemos la imagen de abajo, ese ciervo de utilería en medio de ese pasillo completamente desastroso, no diré qué pasa durante esta escena porque sería spoiler, pero el trauma que me dejó fue demasiado y aquí tengo los ojos llorosos recordando otra vez lo que vi ahí, porque a pesar de lo horrible que era, de lo desastrosa, de lo malvada de esa escena, fue perfecta, o sea, en todo el desastre que es esta película, en el aparente desastre, porque no lo es en absoluto, pero en ese desastre organizado que es esta película, no sabemos si admirar la película en sí, o sentir repulsión por lo que estamos viendo, y admiro esta película pues cumple su cometido perfectamente.
Yo admiro la película y siento repulsión a la vez, no puedo separar estas cosas, pero sé que hay gente que le cuesta hacerlo, gente muy sensible al igual que yo, pero gente que carece de ese lado lógico que muchas veces me ayuda a separar los sentimientos de la lógica, entonces a ese tipo de personas no les recomiendo que vean esta película, porque aunque parezca simple en un principio, cada vez se va a volver más agresiva visualmente, será cada vez más fuerte, te va a dar ganas de vomitar, y aunque yo no vomité tuve la sensación y las ganas de vomitar muchas veces, fue horrible, algo completamente admirable.

There you have the trailer, go see it, I didn't see it and I think I regret having seen it without having seen the trailer, or at least a review, because not expecting anything I was too surprised by what I found and I wouldn't have seen it, the truth, many things happened this week for me that rekindled past traumas, and among those past traumas I found several in this movie, and it was horrible, I really do not know how I finished watching it, but I could do it, even though it was horrible I could enjoy it and that is why I am recommending it to you now, so that you go to suffer with me and do not leave me in this trauma without any company. I'm still surprised to have done a review on a type of movie that I don't like and don't usually watch for the same reason, for everything there's a first time, and this is mine.

Llegue al final sin saber cómo, pero aquí estoy, igual puedan olvidar todo lo que dije y ver esta película sin alguna expectativa, pues posiblemente no les cause impresión alguna y les parezca aburrida por completo, y no la logren terminar de ver, pues dura más de 2 horas, 2 horas y media, creo yo que dura la película, y es que llegó un punto donde ya tenía 1 hora y media, ya estaba en uno de sus puntos álgidos y le faltaba una hora todavía, pero qué más va a suceder y, joder, ¡qué más faltaba por suceder!, va a tener sus momentos lentos, eso sí les digo, creo que nunca lo mencioné antes, pero sí, es un poco lenta entre los momentos intensos, porque claro está, tenemos que descansar y no tenemos que estar teniendo ansiedad durante toda la película, pero esa lentitud en esos momentos posiblemente la hagan imposible de ver para muchas personas
Ahí tienen el tráiler, vayan a verlo, yo no lo vi y creo que me arrepiento de haberla visto sin haber visto el tráiler, o al menos una reseña, porque al no esperar nada me sorprendió demasiado lo que encontré y no la hubiera visto, la verdad, muchas cosas sucedieron esta semana para mí que reavivaron traumas pasados, y entre esos traumas pasados encontré varios en esta película, y fue horrible, yo la verdad no sé cómo la terminé de ver, pero pude hacerlo, a pesar de que fue horrible la pude disfrutar y por eso se las estoy recomendando ahora, para que vayan a sufrir conmigo y no me dejen en este trauma sin compañía alguna. Todavía me sorprende haber hecho una reseña sobre un tipo de película que no me gusta y que no suelo ver por lo mismo, para todo hay una primera vez, y esta es la mía.
