Hello, living beings, I am alive! Still in a recovery process that is going to be too slow, but at last I have enough strength to write a little and not end up exhausted wanting to sleep a whole day to recover. In this post, I'm going to tell you about the life and death events of April 10 and 11, hours before @roadstories decided to make the post to help me, and then I'm going to thank everyone who went out of their way to help me, you're going to cry, I'm already crying, so I won't keep you waiting. I had forgotten all the energy it takes to write a post, this is going to take me several days.

¡Hola, seres vivos! ¡Estoy vivo! Aún en un proceso de recuperación que va a ser demasiado lento, pero al fin tengo las fuerzas suficientes para escribir un poco y no acabar exhausto con ganas de dormir un día entero para recuperarme. En esta publicación les voy a contar los sucesos de vida y muerte de los días sábado 10 y domingo 11 de abril, horas antes de que @roadstories decidiera hacer la publicación para ayudarme, y después les voy a agradecer a todos los que hicieron hasta lo imposible para brindar su ayuda, van a llorar, yo ya lo estoy haciendo, así que no los haré esperar. Había olvidado toda la energía que se necesita para escribir una publicación, esto me va a llevar varios días.

The day before was the second time I had seen a doctor and the first time that the treatment I was receiving was modified until now I was only receiving oral medication and intramuscular injections, from Friday night I started to receive intravenous treatment, so now I would have to have an intravenous IV available in any of the veins of my hands to be able to receive it up to three times a day.

On Saturday night when I received the third dose of the antibiotic through the IV, I had an adverse reaction, I did not die, but I wished I had so I would not have to go through what I am about to tell you: the first sign of the aversive reaction I had was a general malaise in my body, I started to feel more tired than I already felt, and that is a lot to say, because I already felt exhausted, even when lying down; the second symptom was when my fingers and toes turned purple, not only my nails but also my fingertips; at that moment I was already scared and I told my sister that I was feeling worse than I already felt.

After saying that I started to have trouble breathing, my chest started to hurt and my whole body was shaking uncontrollably; my sister automatically took me off the treatment and put me on intravenous hydration so that the negative effects of the antibiotic would disappear. I don't think I was like that for more than 15 minutes, but it felt like two hours, I didn't know what to do, because I was also very thirsty, so I didn't know whether to try to control the tremors of my whole body, try to regulate my breathing so my chest wouldn't hurt so much, and if I drank water I couldn't breathe, so I was in automatic mode trying to survive until all the water I drank made me want to vomit and all the negative effects I was having were suddenly taken away and I felt like crying.

This all happened in the night, after all passed and I could breathe enough I was left alone in my room and tried to sleep. At this moment I did cry, but it was a silent cry of despair and resignation, it was so much what my body was going through that my mental stability could not take it and I completely broke down, after calming down and unable to move from the position I was lying in I started to talk to myself and if I had not fallen asleep I would have cried again; I permitted myself to rest, to die in my sleep so I could stop being in the situation I was in if my body had responded I would have taken all the medications that were within my reach to sleep and not wake up again, although it was very likely that I would have needed a gastric lavage after doing it, but anyway if that night I was going to die I had already accepted it and I wanted it that way, I was too desperate and without any mental stability to face the situation.

El día anterior había sido la segunda vez que me veía un médico y la primera vez que me modificaban el tratamiento que estaba recibiendo, hasta los momentos solo estaba recibiendo medicamentos vía oral e inyecciones intramusculares, a partir del viernes en la noche comencé a recibir también tratamiento intravenoso, por lo que ahora tendría que tener una vía intravenosa disponible en cualquiera de las venes de mis manos para poder recibirlo hasta tres veces al día. 

El sábado en la noche al recibir la tercera dosis del antibiótico a través de la vía intravenosa tuve una reacción adversa, no morí, pero deseé hacerlo para no volver a vivir todo lo que les voy a contar: el primer signo de reacción reacción aversiva que tuve fue un malestar general en el cuerpo, comencé a sentirme más cansado de lo que ya me sentía, y eso es mucho para decir, pues ya me sentía exhausto, incluso estando acosado; el segundo síntoma fue cuando los dedos de las manos y los pies se me pusieron morados, no solo las uñas, si no también las yemas de los dedos; en ese momento ya estaba asustado y le dije a mi hermana que me estaba sintiendo peor de lo que ya me sentía. 

Después de decir eso comencé a tener problemas para respirar, me comenzó a doler el pecho y todo el cuerpo me temblaba sin poder controlarlo; automaticamente mi hermana me quita el tratamiento y me pone hidratación vía intravenosa para que los efectos negativos del antibiótico desaparezcan. Creo que no estuve más de 15 minutos así, pero se sintieron como dos horas, yo no sabía qué hacer, porque además me dio muchísima sed, así que no sabía si tratar de controlar los temblores de todo mi cuerpo, intentar regular mi respiración para que el pecho no me doliera tanto, y si tomaba agua no podía respirar, así que estaba en modo automático intentando sobrevivir hasta que por todo el agua que tomé me dieron ganas de vomitar y todos los efectos negativos que estaba teniendo se me quitaron de golpe y sentí ganas de llorar. 

Todo esto ocurrió en la noche, así que después de que todo pasó y pude respirar lo suficiente me dejaron solo en mi cuarto e intenté dormir. En este momento sí lloré, pero fue un llanto silencioso de desesperación y resignación, era tanto por lo que estaba pasando mi cuerpo que mi estabilidad mental no pudo soportarlo y me vine abajo por completo, después de calmarme y sin poder moverme de la posición en la que estaba acostado comencé a hablar conmigo mismo y si no me hubiera dormido hubiera vuelto a llorar; me di permiso de descansar, de morir mientras dormía y así poder dejar de estar en la situación en la que estaba, si mi cuerpo me hubiera respondido me hubiera tomado todos los medicanmentos que estaban a mi alcance para dormir y no volver a despertar, aunque era muy probable que hubiera necesitado un lavado gástrico después de hacerlo, pero en fin, si esa noche iba a morir ya lo había aceptado y así lo quería, estaba demasiado desesperado y sin ninguna estabilidad mental para afrontar la situación.

I slept, woke up, did not die, and thinking that the previous night's event had been an isolated event and the antibiotic was not going to give me an adverse reaction again they administered it, and if they had not done so none of what I am about to tell you would have happened. At 8 a.m. they started administering the antibiotic, at 9 a.m. it was finished, at 9:05 a.m. I started having the adverse reaction, at 9:06 a.m. my sister-in-law came home to check on us, and I lost consciousness for 5 or 6 hours, so the next thing I am going to tell you I heard a week later when my sister-in-law was talking about it with the rest of my family.

I had all the effects of the previous night's adverse reaction again, but worse, so much so that I don't remember anything that happened. When my sister-in-law arrived, she did the same thing again like the night before, she gave me intravenous hydration and water until I vomited and the effects went away, although this time I did not get better, I started to get worse and worse, my breathing was shallow and faster and faster, My sister-in-law said that in seconds my whole body started to turn purple and then almost black, she automatically put the oximeter on me to see how much oxygen saturation I was having, the normal is to have it between 95 and 100, I was having it between 90 and 93, at that moment I had it at 64. We still do not know exactly how I am still alive if I died and revived, but here I am, getting better and better.

My sister in law told me that I was like a robot, I did everything she ordered me to do, but I don't remember any of that, I say this because she told me that I could still move and that I answered her when she talked to me, although not always, but when she asked me if I remembered everything that happened and I told her that I don't she said that, that I was still moving and talking to her, that she told me to lie down on my stomach to inject me with medicine and I did, and because I was still responding to her when she asked me how I felt, I told her that I couldn't breathe.

Continuing with what happened, my sister-in-law would not let anyone into the room except my brother, and when he saw me purple, almost black, he said that adrenaline took over him and ran out to get an oxygen cylinder because then I was going to die; the oxygen cylinder was borrowed from the neighbors who live in the house behind, they also have covid and needed oxygen, luckily no one was using the cylinder at that time and they were able to lend it to my brother. Adrenaline can work miracles and that is why my brother was able to carry the cylinder by himself from the door of the house to my room, it is about 10 meters and 12 steps, he said that at that moment nothing weighed on him at all, he only had in mind my purple face breathing shallowly. I don't know how long I was receiving exogen, at some point the color came back to my body and I started to regain consciousness, but all those memories are blurred and so it's like I don't have them.

At some point they took me out of the room in a wheelchair and took me to the bathroom to take a bath, since days ago I couldn't walk because I got too tired and started to get out of breath and my chest hurt, so they didn't even try to make me walk that day; they gave me oxygen again and that's the first clear memory I have after I lost consciousness: sitting in bed with the oxygen mask on while my sister-in-law sits across from me talking to me; if I hadn't had the fuzzy memories from when I started oxygen hours earlier it would have been a very uncomfortable time, me wanting to know what was going on and her not wanting to explain so I wouldn't worry.

Many more things happened that day, but if I count them all I would never finish. All this happened while the publication talking about my situation and the help I needed was being written and published, I found out at 5 p.m. that this was being done and I cried like you have no idea, I released all the tension I had been accumulating and knowing that somehow I would be able to continue helping financially in my house, besides paying for the medical treatment of the 4 sick people of Covid-19 at home, knowing that I was going to be able to do all that took a giant weight off my shoulders and I think it helped me to have such a fast recovery in so few days, because I was too sick and they were going to have to put me in a hospital, but it was not like that and I am managing to recover from home.

My mother, my father, my sister, and I, the four of us were the ones who got infected, luckily my niece never had any symptoms and never got sick; of the four of us, my sister and I were the ones who were in the worst health, she started to get worse on Monday 12th, right after I had the horrible crisis I just told you about. I was receiving oxygen for 3 days in a row and I don't know how many days I received oxygen 1 or 2 times a day, depending on how I was; my sister received oxygen for 5 days in a row and several days more 1 or 2 times a day also, it was not easy to get out of this, but thanks to @iritere we could do it more calmly, she came home sometime on Sunday afternoon while I regained consciousness, she accompanied us during these two weeks and we would not have been able to recover without her help.

<center><h3>Domingo 11 </h3> </center>

Dormí, desperté, no morí, y pensando que el evento de la noche anterior había sido un evento aislado y el antibiótico no me iba a volver a dar una reacción adversa me lo administraron, y si no lo hubieran hecho nada de lo que estoy por contarles hubiera pasado. A las 8 a.m. comenzaron a administrarme el antibiótico, a las 9 a.m. se terminó, a las 9:05 a.m. comencé a tener la reacción adversa, a las 9:06 a.m. llegó mi cuñada a la casa a ver cómo estábamos, y yo perdí el conocimiento por 5 o 6 horas, así que lo siguiente que les voy a contar lo escuché una semana después cuando mi cuñada lo estaba conversando con el resto de mi familia. 

Volví a tener todos los efectos de la reacción adversa de la noche anterior, pero peor, tanto así que no recuerdo nada de lo que sucedió. Mi cuñada al llegar volvió a hacer lo mismo de la noche anterior, colocarme hidratación vía intravenosa y darme agua hasta que vomité y los efectos se me quitaron, aunque esta vez no mejoré, si no que comencé a empeorar cada vez más, mi respiración era superficial y cada vez más rápida, mi cuñada dijo que en segundos todo el cuerpo se me comenzó a poner morado y después casi negro, ella automáticamente me puso el oxímetro para ver cuánto era la saturación de oxígeno que estaba teniendo, lo normal es tenerla entre 95 y 100, yo la estaba teniendo entre 90 y 93, pues en ese momento la tenía en 64. Aún no sabemos exactamente cómo sigo vivo, si morí y reviví, pero aquí estoy, mejorando cada vez más. 

Mi cuñada me dijo que yo estaba como un robot, hacía todo lo que ella me ordenaba, pero yo no recuerdo nada de eso, digo esto porque ella me dijo que yo aún podía moverme y que le respondía cuando me hablaba, aunque no siempre, pero cuando me preguntó si recordaba todo lo que pasó y yo le dijo que no me dijo eso, que yo seguía moviéndome y hablándole, que ella me decía que me acostara boca abajo para inyectarme un medicamento y lo hice, y porque le seguía respondiendo cuando ella me preguntaba cómo me sentía, yo le decía que no podía respirar. 

Continuando con lo sucedido, mi cuñada no dejaba pasar nadie al cuarto, excepto a mi hermano, y cuando él me vio morado, casi negro, dijo que la adrenalina se apoderó de él y salió corriendo a buscar una bombona de oxígeno porque entonces yo me iba a morir; la bombona de oxígeno la consiguieron prestada de los vecinos que viven en la casa de atrás, ellos también tienen covid y necesitaban oxígeno, por suerte nadie estaba usando la bombona en ese momento y se la pudieron prestar a mi hermano. La adrenalina puede llegar a hacer milagros y por eso mi hermano pudo cargar la bombona él solo desde la puerta de la casa hasta mi cuarto, son unos 10 metros y 12 escalones, él dijo que en ese momento no le pesaba nada en absoluto, que solo tenía en mente era mi cara morada respirando superficialmente. No sé cuánto tiempo estuve recibiendo exígeno, en algún momento el color me volvió al cuerpo y comencé a recobrar la consciencia, pero todos esos recuerdos están borrosos y así que es como si no los tuviera. 

En algún momento me sacaron en silla de ruedas del cuarto y me llevaron al baño para darme un baño, desde hace días atrás yo no podía caminar porque me cansaba demasiado y comenzaba a faltarme el aire y a dolerme el pecho, así que ni siquiera intentaron hacer que caminara ese día; me volvieron a dar oxígeno y ese es el primer recuerdo claro que tengo después de haber perdido la consciencia: estar sentado en la cama con la mascarilla de oxígeno puesta mientras mi cuñada está sentada frente a mí hablándome; si no hubiera tenido los recuerdos borrosos desde que comencé a recibir oxígeno horas antes hubiera sido un momento muy incómodo, yo queriendo saber qué estaba pasando y ella sin querer explicarlo para no preocuparme. 

Muchas más cosas sucedieron ese día, pero si las cuento todas nunca termino. Todo eso sucedió mientras la publicación hablando de mi situación y la ayuda que necesitaba era escrita y publicada, me enteré a las 5 de la tarde de que eso estaba siendo hecho y lloré como no tienen idea, liberé toda la tensión que venía acumulando y saber que de alguna forma iba a poder seguir ayudando economicamente en mi casa, además de pagar el tratamiento médico de las 4 personas enfermas de Covid-19 en la casa, saber que iba a poder hacer todo eso me quitó un peso gigante de encima y creo que me ayudó a tener una recuperación tan rápida en tan pocos días, pues yo estaba demasiado grave y me iban a tener que internar en un hospital, pero no fue así y estoy logrando recuperarme desde casa. 

Mi madre, mi padre, mi hermana y yo, nosotros cuatro fuimos los que nos contagiamos, por suerte mi sobrina nunca tuvo ningún síntoma y no se enfermó nunca; de nosotros cuatro, mi hermana y yo fuimos los que estuvimos más grave de salud, ella comenzó a empeorar el lunes 12, justo después de que yo tuviera la crisis horribles que les acabo de contar. Yo estuve recibiendo oxígeno por 3 días seguidos y no sé cuántos días recibía oxígeno 1 o 2 veces al día, dependiendo de cómo estuviera; mi hermana recibió oxígeno por 5 días seguidos y varíos días más 1 o 2 veces al día también, no fue nada fácil salir de esto, pero gracias a @iritere pudimos hacerlo con más calma, ella llegó a la casa en algún momento el domingo en horas de la tarde mientras yo recobraba la consciencia, ella nos acompañó durante estas dos semanas y no nos hubiéramos podido recuperar sin su ayuda.

Just thinking about everything that happened, what I told you, plus so much more, and that I was able to get through it all thanks to the help I received from all of you already has me in tears as I write this, nothing in the world can show how grateful my whole family is to you, how grateful I am to every one of you who came together to help us get through these weeks that have been a living hell.

I dislike you guys too much, I love you, I never really got to tell you how bad I was, and I don't know if you talked to someone at home, probably my sister, or it was just intuition from you guys, but thank you for helping me so much, I don't think I've ever bothered someone so much in my life, maybe except my mom, but anyway, without you guys, I wouldn't be here today, thank you.

Life won't be enough for me to thank @theycallmedan for creating the #helpingjau initiative not only to help me but to make us all reflect, even a year later, about Covid-19 and its imminent presence in everyone's life.

Before I continue thanking you I have to clarify: I have not read or seen 10% of all the publications you all made to help me, the reason?  I can't get emotional in any way because I start to get out of breath and my chest starts to hurt, at least right now it's not so strong and it's happening less and less, but two weeks ago I couldn't laugh, cry or get angry without needing oxygen, so everyone, especially @gorayii and @laloretoyya had forbidden me to read anything that was being done to help me, and they were too right to do so, everyone knows I'm a born crybaby and it doesn't take much for me to be crying, for that reason I haven't commented, read or seen any posts, I'm going to do it from now on little by little, I promise, I owe you all even a comment on your posts and it's something I'm going to do while I'm still recovering, I promise.


@roadstories, you created the first snowflake that ended up triggering this avalanche that helped my family in more than one way, my sister and I owe you our lives, she doesn't know it, but I do; reading your entire post, knowing that you updated the information many times a day to keep everyone informed of our situation, reading all the comments on your post, I don't know how many times I stopped crying just to start crying reading the next comment, I am emotionally exhausted, but in a good way, because thankfulness is what I feel, thank you, Road, the magnitude of what you did is something I will never forget and stop thanking you, to all who did their part.

@laloretoyya, @gorayii, I love you, my other sister, and my other mother, I know you were not sleeping well and were awake early in the morning waiting to hear from us, you knew more about my health condition than I knew myself when I found out the results of my tests and I was going to tell you, you already knew them and sent me to continue resting, I don't know how many times you reproached me and I don't know how many times I kept bothering you, but I do know that I won't find other people like you, thank you, and yes, I'm crying, don't blame me.

@miguelmederico, your post was one of the first I saw without Natalia and Gorayii's permission, and even though I was able to watch the whole video on the third try because the first two times I couldn't because of tears, and I just finished reading all the comments and conversations that came up there; every time I watch the video I start to cry, then I laugh and end up with too much affection overflowing making me feel better, I loved that video too much, you don't know how much I thank you and everyone who participated for making it, and challenge accomplished, it brought me too much joy and happiness, so thank you, thank you a thousand times.

El hecho de solo pensar en todo lo que pasó, lo que les conté, además de muchas cosas más, y de que pude superar todo eso gracias a la ayuda que recibí de todos ustedes ya me hace estar llorando mientras escribo esto, nada en el mundo es capaz de demostrar lo agradecida que toda mi familia está con ustedes, lo agradecido que estoy con todos y cada uno de los que se unieron para ayudarnos y que pudieramos atravesar estas semanas que han sido un infierno en vida.

Ustedes me caen demasiado mal, los jamo, nunca les llegué a decir realmente lo mal que estaba, y no sé si hablaron con alguien de mi casa, probablemente mi hermana, o simplemente fue intuición de ustedes, pero gracias por haberme ayudado tanto, creo que nunca había molestado tanto a alguien en mi vida, quizás excepto a mi mamá, pero en fin, sin ustedes no estaría hoy aquí, gracias. 

La vida no me va a alcanzar tampoco para agradecerle a @theycallmedan por haber creado la iniciativa #helpingjau no solo para ayudarme, si no para hacernos reflexionar a todos, incluso un año después, sobre el Covid-19 y su inminente presencia en la vida de todos todavía. 

Antes de continuar agradeciendo tengo que hacerles una aclaración: no he leído ni visto el 10% de todas las publicaciones que todos hicieron para ayudarme, ¿la razón? No me puedo emocionar de ninguna forma porque me comienza a faltar el aire y a doler el pecho, al menos en este momento no es tan fuerte y cada vez me sucede menos, pero hace dos semanas era imposible para mí reírme, llorar o enojarme sin necesitar oxígeno, por lo que todos, en especial @gorayii y @laloretoyya me tenían prohibido que leyera nada de lo que se estaba haciendo para ayudarme, y tenían demasiada razón en hacerlo, todo el mundo sabe que yo soy un llorón nato y no hace falta mucho para que yo esté soltando lágrimas, por esa razón no he comentado, leído o visto alguna publicación, voy a hacerlo a partir de ahora poco a poco, lo prometo, les debo a todos aunque sea un comentario en sus publicaciones y es algo que voy a hacer mientra sigo recuperándome, lo prometo. 

@roadstories, creaste el primer copo de nieve que terminó desencadenando esta avalancha que ayudó a mi familia en más de una manera, mi hermana y yo te devemos la vida, ella no lo sabe, pero yo sí; leer toda tu publicación, saber que actualizabas la información muchas veces al día para mantener a todos informados de nuestra situación, leer todos los comentarios en tu publicación, no sé cuántas veces dejé de llorar solo para comenzar a hacerlo leyendo el siguiente comentario, estoy exhausto emocionalmente, pero en una buena manera, porque agradecimiento es lo que siento, gracias, Road, la magnitud de lo que hiciste es algo que nunca voy a olvidar y dejar de agradecerte, a todos los que hicieron su parte. 

@laloretoyya, @gorayii, las jamo, mi otra hermana y mi otra madre, sé que no dormían bien y estaban despiertas desde temprano esperando noticias de nosotros, ustedes sabían más de mi estado de salud que yo mismo, cuando yo me enteraba de los resultados de mis exámenes y les iba a decir ustedes ya los sabían y me mandaban a seguir descansando, no sé cuántas veces me regañaron y tampoco sé cuántas veces las seguía molestando, pero sí sé que no voy a encontrar a otras personas como ustedes, gracias, y sí, estoy llorando, no me culpen. 

@miguelmederico, tu publicación fue una de las primeras que vi sin el permiso de Natalia y Gorayii, y aunque el video lo pude ver completo al tercer intento porque las primeras dos veces no pude por las lágrimas, y apenas acabo de terminar de leer todos los comentarios y las conversaciones que surgieron ahí; cada vez que veo el video comienzo a llorar, después me río y termino con demasiado cariño rebosándome haciéndome sentir mejor, amé demasiado ese video, no sabes cuánto te agradezco a ti y a todos los que participaron por haberlo hecho, y reto cumplido, me trajo demasiada dicha y alegría, así que gracias, mil gracias.

Si sigo agradeciendo en esta publicación a todos individualmente voy a terminar necesitando oxígeno otra vez, así que voy a hacerlo visitando a todos y cada uno en las publicaciones que hicieron y dejaré mi comentario, bien largo, para que lloren conmigo, porque no es justo que el enfermo sea yo y también sea yo el único que esté llorando, no, ustedes también tienen que hacerlo.

Sé que falta muchísima gente aquí, demasiada como para contarla, y me iba a tomar el tiempo de aunque sea etiquetarlos para que sepan que agradezco muchísimo lo que hicieron por mí, pero de verdad todavía no tengo las energías suficientes como para hacer todo ese trabajo, así que gracias, probablemente conozcan a alguien que me ayudó, así que díganle gracias de mi parte, etiquétenlo en los comentarios y háganle saber que estoy bien, así me dan la oportunidad de agradecerles también.
