<div class="text-justify">El día de hoy les traigo una de esas series que verdaderamente son la joya de la corona por muchas razones, entre ellas por el casting, la historia, la fotografía, puesta en escena, etc. Es una serie relativamente nueva, estrenada en diciembre pero que tuve la oportunidad de ver hace poco y la verdad es que es muy buena.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Esta serie cuenta la historia de un juez de mucho renombre llamado Michael Desiato el cual tiene un hijo, Adam, que por cosas del destino se ve involucrado en un accidente de transito del estilo atropello/fuga. Todo se complica cuando padre e hijo se enteran que la persona muerta en dicho accidente es el hijo menor de un criminal prominente de Nueva Orleans. Este mafioso se llama Jimmy Baxter (Michael Stuhlbarg) quien a la larga se entera que Desiato está involucrado en la muerte de su hijo.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Acá la cosa se complica porque empezamos a ver a nuestro juez traspasar ciertos limites de moralidad y ética con tal de proteger a toda costa la vida de su hijo. Pero por otro lado vemos a este criminal que lo único que quiere es cobrar venganza por su primogénito muerto. Lo que a lo largo de la serie se convierte en una guerra entre estos dos hombre para ver hasta donde son capaces de llegar por sus respectivos hijos.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Con lo que no cuenta el juez es que a medida que va pasando el tiempo, Adam, empieza a fijarse (sin saberlo) en la hija de Jimmy Baxter, hermana del joven muerto, lo que complica aún más las cosas. Eventualmente este criminal también se entera de todo esto y usa esta situación para buscar manejar a su antojo al juez Desiato.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Entre tantos hilos que tuvo que mover nuestro juez al final se tuvo que apelar al encubrimiento y echarle la culpa a un joven pandillero de haber cometido dicho asesinato lo que va a crear otra guerra entre esta pandilla y la familia Baxter. Y todo esto solo para que el juez no perdiera a su hijo ni el estatus de su carrera legal.</div>

#### - Opinión.

<div class="text-justify">Estamos ante un gran thriller judicial y criminal que ciertamente pudo haber sido un poco mejor pero que no deja de ser excelente. Toda la serie se caracteriza por unas muy buenas actuaciones empezando por Bryan Cranston, un primer actor que no hace falta decir lo bien que hace su trabajo. Creo que el casting en general fue bastante bueno porque hay grandes nombres y a pesar de haber ciertas lagunas con el guion estos actores logran captar la esencia de sus personajes y salir airosos en esta serie.</div>

> We are facing a great judicial and criminal thriller that certainly could have been a little better but is still excellent. The entire series is characterized by some very good performances starting with Bryan Cranston, a first actor who goes without saying how well he does his job. I think the casting in general was quite good because there are big names and despite having certain gaps with the script, these actors manage to capture the essence of their characters and succeed in this series.

<div class="text-justify">Personajes secundarios como los detectives, abogados y hasta los mismos miembros de la pandilla que no hice mención para guardar un poco la información también jugaron gran papel en el desenvolvimiento de toda esta historia que la verdad y muy en lo personal, me gustó bastante.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Invito a todos los que puedan que le echen un vistazo. Solo hay una temporada la cual consta de diez capítulos sin información alguna de una posible segunda temporada. En lo personal no creo que eso suceda. Si le tuviera que colocar una nota honestamente le pondría un 8/10.
