<div class="text-justify">Por fin el momento llegaría, ese en el que finalmente iba a ver la película que había generado en mi un hype absurdo por todo lo que significa en mi vida y en la de muchos y es que al igual que casi todos los que hemos disfrutado de esta maravilla crecimos tratando de que este plomero italiano lograra rescatar a la princesa Peach yendo de castillo en castillo sorteando infinitos mundos y dificultades. Mario creo que fue el primer superhéroe que conocimos sin darnos cuenta de que verdaderamente era un superhéroe, siempre con la tenacidad y el empuje de ir tras Bowser para buscar derrotarlo y así lograr su cometido de salvar a la damisela en apuros.</div>

<div class="text-justify">La película no se aleja mucho de esa realidad solo que en esta ocasión parece que Peach es muy capaz de hacerle frente a lo que sea que se le ponga en frente y no, ya se que lo se puede estar pensando y la verdad es que en ningún momento esta situación se vio forzada o por lo menos no lo percibí de esa manera y es que al final si se necesitó la ayuda de todos para lograr el objetivo. Como dice el titulo considero que es de las mejores adaptaciones, la más real y sincera que se ha hecho con respecto a un videojuego y miren que han habido varias que sencillamente nunca llenaron los zapatos de las historias originales. Pero bueno, sin más hablemos un poco de lo que fue o es esta aventura de los hermanos bigotudos.</div>

<div class="text-justify">La historia no es muy compleja. Empezamos con los dos hermanos, Mario (Chris Pratt) y Luigi (Charlie Day), quienes viven en Nueva York junto a su familia. Cansados de trabajar para alguien más deciden emprender en un negocio en donde ellos serían sus propios jefes por lo que, oh sorpresa, caen en el mundo de la plomería. Como siempre los comienzos no son fáciles por lo que trabajo que les salía trabajo que terminaba mal hasta que un buen día optan por irse a lo grande. En las calles de esta ciudad ocurrió un accidente por lo que ellos, creyendo que son capaces de repararlo, ponen manos a la obra sin saber que esto los llevaría a la aventura de sus vidas.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Bajo de la ciudad se percatan de una gran tubería la cual los va a arrastrar a través de varios mundos hasta que finalmente caen en el Reino Champiñón o eso cree Mario hasta que se percata de que Luigi se ha perdido. Es acá en donde dicha aventura inicia, Mario deberá de hacer lo imposible para rescatar a su hermano y para ello pedirá ayuda a todo aquel que puede prestársela. Honestamente este film tiene dos puntos fuertes, la inevitable nostalgia y todas y cada una de las referencias que a lo largo de la película vamos a ver, desde pequeños detalles en escenas como gestos y sonidos hasta la banda sonora son cosas que evocan perfectamente a todo el universo de este juego.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Como les decía, las referencia que hacen alusión a casi todos los juegos a lo largo de la historia están ahí y si eres un fanático fácilmente las vas a reconocer. Y aquí me quiero detener. Esta película está hecha para los fanáticos, esto quiere decir que si nunca he jugado Mario no la puedo ver? - la puedes ver y la vas a entender pero el efecto no será el mismo. Y es una realidad porque hay quienes la han criticado, que están en su derecho, pero esas personas al final no entendieron el verdadero sentido del film que no es otro que simplemente disfrutar. Es una hora y media en donde personas de todas las edades van a pasarla increíble sumergidos en estas tuberías.</div>

<div class="text-justify">La animación y como no podía ser menos, es otro impecable detalle. Illumination fueron los encargados, gente que hizo todo el universo de Mi Villano Favorito y los Minions. Muy sinceramente me sorprendió lo bien hecha que está cosa que es muy complicada de hacer y que cuando hay algo que está fuera de si se nota bastante. Pues en este caso no fue así, la animación es de una calidad suprema, las gesticulaciones de los personajes, las muecas, las expresiones, todo es en extremo realista y eso es algo que le un valor extra a la película. Tan fácil que es hacer las cosas bien, este film es el vivo ejemplo de eso. Además de que hay escenas que se disfrutan mucho, la pista arcoíris y el reto de Peach a Mario para ver si es apto para ayudarla sin duda es de lo mejor que verán.</div>

<div class="text-justify">El precedente que tiene este juego en el cine se remonta al 1993 en donde "intentaron" hacer algo decente y al final resultó ser un fracaso rotundo. Aquella fue protagonizada por John Leguizamo entre otros. Esto lo digo porque a lo largo de la historia se han hecho intentos por llevar el mundo de los videojuegos al cine, pasó con Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Sonic, Doom, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Warcraft y hasta Pokémon y un largo etcétera. Algunas de estas teniendo buenos resultados pero otras siendo un desastre total. No es fácil porque si hay fanáticos exigentes son los gamers ya que el sentido de pertenencia es máximo; por suerte Mario Bros está dejando contento a todo el mundo y demostrando que si es posible hacer algo de gran nivel. Creo que esa ventana se abrió y espero no se cierre pronto.</div>

Todos sabemos del carisma y la gracia de Jack Black y con Bowser lo dejó más que demostrado, "Peaches" a partir de estos momentos será un himno que dudo sea olvidado pronto. Sin dudas el mejor personajes es él, con el respeto a todos pero los giros que vemos en la personalidad de este villano son impresionantes, al final no es más que un ser incomprendido y enamorado que quiere aniquilar a todos. La relación de Mario y Luigi es otra de las cosas que se disfrutan mucho, esa hermandad es muy bonita y la forma en la que se plasma en pantalla es muy top, muy digna del juego la verdad.</div>

<div class="text-justify">9.5/10 porque como siempre he dicho, no hay película perfecta. Es una joya de film, todo bien logrado, recuerdos desbloqueados, mucha acción, mucha comedia, te ríes genuinamente, las referencias están y eso enriquece bastante la experiencia cuando la estamos viendo y la animación es muy top, muy a la altura. Como fanático y gamer a morir de Mario, no le veo nada malo a esta película. Como dije tiene una duración de hora y media, tiempo justo porque no la hace pesada. Les dejo el tráiler por acá.</div>
