<div class="text-justify">Ok gente, empezamos este viaje literario con uno de los libros que más me ha atrapado en lo que a historia y desarrollo se refiere. El psicoanalista es fácilmente el mejor o uno de los mejores libros de John Katzenbach, por lo menos puede que sea de los más comerciales y conocidos de toda su colección.</div>

> Ok folks, we started this literary journey with one of the books that has caught me the most in terms of history and development. The Psychoanalyst is easily the best or one of the best books of John Katzenbach, at least it may be one of the most commercial and well-known of his entire collection.

<div class="text-justify">Antes quisiera hablarles brevemente sobre quien es este autor. Katzenbach es un escritor nacido en Estados Unidos y es de los autores más importantes de la llamada "novela negra". Este genero se entiende como la simpleza del arte de matar y todo lo relacionado al mundo criminal; además de que posee ciertos conocimientos siendo un periodista en todo lo relacionado a temas judiciales, es por esto que creo que es tan bueno en lo que hace.</div>

This genre is understood as the simplicity of the art of killing and everything related to the criminal world; In addition to having certain knowledge being a journalist in everything related to judicial issues, this is why I think he is so good at what he does.

##### - Entonces, ¿de que va más o menos El Psicoanalista?

<div class="text-justify">Es la historia de Frederick Starks, un reconocido psicoanalista que el día de su cumpleaños recibe una carta anónima la cual dice: "Feliz cumpleaños, doctor. Bienvenido al primer día de su muerte". A raíz de esta nota se empieza a desarrollar la historia en donde él en aproximadamente 2 semanas tiene que descubrir quien es el autor que está detrás de esa amenaza el cual le promete una vida insoportable.</div>

> It is the story of Frederick Starks, a renowned psychoanalyst who on his birthday receives an anonymous letter which says: "Happy birthday, doctor. Welcome to the first day of your death." As a result of this note, the story begins to develop where he in about 2 weeks has to discover who the author is behind that threat which promises him an unbearable life.

<div class="text-justify">El tema es que de no concretar la meta, nuestro doctor le tocará elegir entre suicidarse o ver como poco a poco van siendo asesinadas las personas más allegadas a él, es decir, familiares y amigos. Todo por producto de la venganza, un verdadero thriller del suspenso psicoanalista.</div>

> The issue is that if the goal is not finished, our doctor will have to choose between committing suicide or seeing how little by little the people closest to him, that is, family and friends, are being killed. All for the product of revenge, a true psychoanalyst suspense thriller.

<div class="text-justify">El autor de la amenazante carta recuerdo que firma bajo el nombre de "Rumplestilskin" el cual lleva muchísimo tiempo viendo como logra y preparando lo que será su venganza. Pero, ¿por qué tanto rencor? - pues porque este despiadado asesino asegura que el doctor es uno de los culpables de la muerte de su madre.</div>

> The author of the threatening letter I remember signing under the name "Rumplestilskin" which has been seeing how he achieves for a long time and preparing what his revenge will be. But why so much resentment? - because this ruthless murderer assures that the doctor is one of the culprits of the death of his mother.

<div class="text-justify">Básicamente todo el libro es una montaña rusa de emociones ya que es una carrera donde el tiempo se convierte en el peor enemigo de nuestro doctor. No hay momentos flojos en la trama ya que siempre va a existir el "plot twist" que nos obliga a no querer dejar de leerlo. La verdad es que siempre se está en una tensión constante porque muy rara vez se sabe lo que va a pasar.</div>

> Basically the whole book is a roller coaster of emotions since it is a race where time becomes the worst enemy of our doctor. There are no lazy moments in the plot since there will always be the "plot twist" that forces us not to want to stop reading it. The truth is that you are always in constant tension because you rarely know what is going to happen.

<div class="text-justify">Hablando de los personajes pues Frederick Starks, el protagonista, está realmente bien elaborado ya que como dije anteriormente es una montaña rusa de cambios a lo largo de la historia. Está el doctor que disfruta lo que hace pero las circunstancias y el tiempo lo obligan a cambiar mucho ciertas actitudes, pasa de ser solitario y apagado debido a la muerte de sus esposa a un hombre increíblemente activo y con cierta actitud ganadora ante la muerte respirándole las espaldas.</div>

<p>

> Speaking of the characters, Frederick Starks, the protagonist, is really well elaborated since, as I said before, it is a roller coaster of changes throughout history. There is the doctor who enjoys what he does but circumstances and time force him to change certain attitudes a lot, he goes from being lonely and dull due to the death of his wife to an incredibly active man with a certain winning attitude towards death, breathing the backs.

<div class="text-justify">El desenlace del libro no pudo ser mejor y va de la mano con lo que fue toda la trepidante historia que Katzenbach nos relata en sus páginas. En esencia es un libro que mantiene los nervios al máximo con el cual nunca se van a aburrir, es un 10/10.</div>

> The outcome of the book could not have been better and goes hand in hand with what was all the exciting story that Katzenbach tells us in its pages. In essence it is a book that keeps your nerves to the maximum with which you will never get bored, it is a 10/10.
