The currency of the new age is skill.

Which goes to be  that if you're going to be relevant in the current world system, what skill set do you have to sway.

Sadly, there are various skill and this variety account for different abilities that are currently needed in the world  market today.

With over 70% of Nigerian youths currently unemployed and the Nigerian education system being overwhelmed and overwhelmingly trusted to put the skill into them and fail awfully.
The onus and responsibility, therefore, lies in the personalities involved to hone their skills and acquire as much as possible to be able to be marketable and ultimately solve problems.

And if the market favours you and your skill is needed you will be paid for the time that you spend your skill solving problems and not necessary for the number of problems you solve.

A footballer plays a 90-minute match and makes  a sure win but that's all we see we don't always get to see the training the motivation the injuries and the time he put in preparing for the match.

A developer gets an idea gets a team works and it fails and again and then finds new ways to not fail and then when the setup is running nobody see the failures.

This has made people believe that life is just a straight-up game where you just become the best from when you started hidden failures and heating sweats seems to not have done is the best good.

I think we need to show these things more often.

How much time are you ready to convert into skills life is all about skills from basic skills to intellectual skills life needs and skills to survive. 

The things that you must learn to do for example here in the hive platform, I have learnt  editing skills, photo editing, video editing designing, markdown, writing and even communication skills, all of these things  because I need to use my time better and get some recognition from not just my contacts but how I present them.

## Would you be ready to make your skills time-bound or lasting?

Some skills are just for a season the trend and then they die away.

How expensive does your skill cost to learn?

Some skills require a lot of capital to learn and then they may never solve other people's problems.

Choosing well in this instance gives an advantage of you solving a problem over a long period and the ability to earn enough to create more solutions to more problems.

Very big shot may not have to acquire more skills, you can employ more people who have the skills they require and pay them for their time

It just has to dawn on us, that we must be paid for our time no one can pay you for your Labour and your work and your stress but the time given to you to create  and solve problems is what you're paid for so make your time more valuable.
