My problem is selling, i'm good at buying that unwanted junk but letting go is another thing. 

I suppose if I saw value in the items that's why I struggle to sell them on, this buying issue stretches to large items like motorcycles and when you count 24 in the garage and various sheds it's time to do something about it.

I now have 11 bikes so i'm getting there slowly, not helped by the wife who owns 5 of them.

Clearing out is somewhat cathartic though and the cash is a nice bonus

Omg pawn stars and storage wars!!! I loved those!!! Ahhh such great memories when I was hoping for great treasure in the storage!

I loved the story of the items brough to the pawn shop. And the dark humour and grumpy face of the old man. Hahahha.

Who doesn't love a good rummage sale? 

Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, The Pickers!! Our fave!! Thank God they have their voice of reason back at the office! How many time do I wonder if they will be tossing through a barnful, only to have a rat run across their feet?? 

But, you gotta lice them!!

Oh, hope the loadshedding will be short lived!

I have so many items I have been hoping to do what you do but in crypto, always found other places tedious to be involved with selling much at all.

Good luck and enjoy the venture, it sure has got cold up here as well, fair amount of wind too and no red wine to sooth the shattered nerves at the end of the day. Keep smiling at least that is still free _even though no one sees it!_

I would love to have a go at upcycling but sadly but not very creative.

Oh the no power for 2 hours thing would be horrible!!!!!!! I always believe in having a side hustle. Often fun and profitable can be combined and that is such a cool feeling!

This is so strange, Jaynie - because my late mother did the same thing.  When she left S Africa she also sold her things and was fascinated at how quickly everything sold and I believe if she had stayed in S Africa she would have bought and sold as well.    When I left the country everything happened so fast that I gave most of my things away.  All good - went to good causes.  Given time - this is definitely the way to go.   Wish you luck.  Also met a lady in the UK who lives off buying and selling on e-bay.
