These last few days I am watching a commercial entertainment, Hollywood popcorn movies. Wrath of Man is another movie that I liked, because it gives me what I expected: action, crime and unrelenting revenge in a story that is directed by the great Guy Ritchie.

**I've been following director Guy Ritchie's career since the late nineties, when he first made a name for himself with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. With his mix of crime stories and black comedy he won over critics and audiences alike.**
I like his style and the films in which he has more creative freedom. Of course, not everything is gold in his filmography. I like almost all of them, even those made under contract. The ones I didn't like are the King Arthur version he released in 2017 and the live action version of Aladdin, what the hell were you thinking Ritchie?
Fortunately the year Aladdin was released, was also the year of The Knights, where he returned with his trademark black humor to tell us a story with colorful criminals with an amazing cast that was very well received.
**With Wrath of Man he returns with a story of criminals, the script is written by Ritchie himself, remaking the 2004 French film Le Conveyour and starring one of his favorite actors: Jason Statham.**
Jason Statahm and Guy Ritchie are two names linked by their friendship and by all the work they have done together. They both became famous for the same movie and this is their fourth film together. Attention: they are working on another movie to be released next year, another action film called Five Eyes, where Statham will be the hero recruited by an organization that aims to stop criminals who have in their possession powerful weapons of mass destruction. I'm already looking forward to seeing this new movie!

Afortunadamente el año en que se estrenó Aladdin, fue también el del film The Gentlemen, donde volvió con su característico humor negro para contarnos una historia con criminales de colores con un reparto increíble que fue muy bien recibida.

### My opinion about the film.
</div>
**There is something that sets Wrath of Man apart from all of Guy Ritchie's previous productions. There is no presence of the usual black humor he puts into his stories. I think this plays in favor of the plot. The director makes his most classic action movie so far. Of course his style is noticeable in many sequences, but restrained, avoiding many of the excesses to which we are accustomed.**
It is a story that transpires testosterone at all times, a story of tough, brave and violent men whose job is to risk their lives, protecting money that does not belong to them, from criminals with high-powered weapons ready to rob them. There are only three female characters and only one of them has the most screen time.
Spectacular action scenes where the star is Jason Statahm in the character of Hills, the enigmatic man who joins the armored car company but looks like a terminator when confronting the robbers, he is a killing machine.
Hills is a soulless character. It seems his only goal is to exterminate the thieves who dare to want to steal the money. He goes out to work wishing that day a gang of thieves will cross his path. There is something that motivates him to do so. He will not rest and no one will be able to stop him, until he explodes all his fury. What is it that motivates him? When you see it you will find out.

### Mi opinión del film.
*Hay algo que diferencia a Wrath of Man de todas las producciones anteriores de Guy Ritchie. No hay presencia del habitual humor negro que pone en sus historias. Creo que esto juega a favor de la trama. El director realiza su película de acción más clásica hasta el momento. Por supuesto se nota su estilo en muchas secuencias, pero comedido, evitando muchos de los excesos a los que nos tiene acostumbrados.*
Es una historia que transpira testosterona en todo momento, una historia de hombres duros, valientes y violentos cuyo trabajo es arriesgar su vida, protegiendo un dinero que no les pertenece, de unos delincuentes con armas de gran potencia dispuestos a robarles. Sólo hay tres personajes femeninos y sólo uno de ellos tiene el mayor tiempo en pantalla.
Espectaculares escenas de acción donde la estrella es Jason Statahm en el personaje de Hills, el enigmático hombre que se une a la empresa de coches blindados pero que parece un terminator cuando se enfrenta a los atracadores, es una máquina de matar.
Hills es un personaje sin alma. Parece que su único objetivo es exterminar a los ladrones que se atreven a querer robar el dinero. Sale a trabajar deseando que ese día una banda de ladrones se cruce en su camino. Hay algo que le motiva a hacerlo. No descansará y nadie podrá detenerle, hasta que explote toda su furia. ¿Qué es lo que le motiva? Cuando lo veas lo descubrirás.

**Despite the lack of black humor and being shot in a more classic way, the director's personal brand is present and we can notice it when he uses three points of view to narrate a specific event that happens at the beginning of the film.**
Showing the three visions of a certain event, makes the length of the film lengthen, but I was not affected by its length. Ritchie manages to keep me in constant tension as we discover who Hills is and his true intentions.
I was fascinated by the change in point of view, introducing us to the group of ex-soldiers who are disgruntled because they risked their lives for their country and now have a crappy job and barely enough money to live decently. A group of psychopaths who miss the adrenaline rush of danger states.
**A great "hero" is measured against a better antagonist. Hills is an expert marksman, a living deadly weapon, but his great antagonist is a group of soldiers trained and battlefield experienced to exterminate anyone who opposes his mission.**
For hardcore action lovers, Wrath of Man is a feast of bullets and death that will leave you ecstatic. All the armored assault scenes are excellent, raising the tension until the final half hour with an all-out war, where very few will emerge victorious.
I suggest not watching the trailer, I reviewed it several times after watching the movie and at first I didn't realize that if it shows anything essential to the story, it's preferable not to watch it, so you can be intrigued about Hills' motives for being a psychopathic armored truck robber killer.
**It's not Guy Ritchie's best film, but it's a good action movie that I recommend to fans of the genre and fans of Statham or the filmmaker. Get the burgers, popcorn and coke ready, because you have to watch it like a badass, in your underwear, sitting on the couch and scratching your belly. hahaha.**

*A pesar de la falta de humor negro y de estar rodada de una forma más clásica, la marca personal del director está presente y lo podemos notar cuando utiliza tres puntos de vista para narrar un hecho concreto que ocurre al principio de la película.*
Mostrar las tres visiones de un determinado suceso, hace que la duración de la película se alargue, pero a mí no me afectó su duración. Ritchie consigue mantenerme en constante tensión mientras descubrimos quién es Hills y sus verdaderas intenciones.
Me fascinó el cambio de punto de vista, introduciéndonos al grupo de ex-soldados que están descontentos por haber arriesgado su vida por su país y ahora tienen un trabajo de mierda y apenas dinero para vivir decentemente. Un grupo de psicópatas que echan de menos el subidón de adrenalina que producen los estados de peligro.
*Un gran "héroe" se mide con un mejor antagonista. Hills es un experto tirador, un arma mortal viviente, pero su gran antagonista es un grupo de soldados entrenados y con experiencia en el campo de batalla para exterminar a todo aquel que se oponga a su misión.*
Para los amantes de la acción dura, Wrath of Man es un festín de balas y muerte que te dejará extasiado. Todas las escenas de asalto al blindado son excelentes, elevando la tensión hasta la media hora final con una guerra sin cuartel, donde muy pocos saldrán victoriosos.
Sugiero no ver el tráiler, lo revisé varias veces después de ver la película y al principio no me di cuenta de que si muestra algo esencial de la historia, es preferible no verlo, así podrás estar intrigado sobre los motivos de Hills para ser un psicópata asesino de ladrones de camiones blindados.
*No es la mejor película de Guy Ritchie, pero es una buena película de acción que recomiendo a los aficionados al género y a los fans de Statham o del cineasta. Preparad las hamburguesas, las palomitas y la coca-cola, porque hay que verla como un machote, en calzoncillos, sentado en el sofá y rascándose la barriga. jajaja.*

I didn't know this was a remake of a 2004 French film written and directed by Nicolas Boukhrief. I have only seen three films by this French filmmaker: Cortex, Gardiens de l'ordre and Made in France. There are three others in his filmography that I have not seen, including Le Conveyeour, the original on which this Guy Ritchie film is based. Not having seen it, I can't tell you exactly what the changes in the story were and whether the original is better than the remake. I'm sorry I haven't seen the original, but if you look up information, it seems it wasn't very successful and was a regular movie. So I think we can come to the conclusion that this one may be superior. If anyone has seen the French film, please give me your opinion in the comments. When I have time, I will try to find it to watch it.

Those are the most important characters, but there are other known characters in the cast. Raul Castillo, who I saw a few days ago in the movie Army of the Dead, plays Sam. The great actor Andy Garcia plays Agent King and Rocci Williams plays Hollow Bob.
**A good action movie, very well directed by Guy Ritchie and with Jason Statham doing what he does best in movies: fight, shoot and kill. The movie will keep you focused on its story, it will not let you take a breath. A real all-out war between a man seeking revenge and soldiers willing to do anything to steal as much money as possible.**
