Decreasing Moon
This recording of this decreasing Moon, the earth stands between the sun and the moon, did i with a Canon Powershot SX60 HS  at 8.10.2018 05.10 am, at sunrise, on [Erlichsee](https://steemit.com/busy/@jeenger/open-air-konzert-am-erlichsee-open-air-concert-at-the-erlichsee) / Germany.

# Moonphases

The appearance of the moon varies in the course of its orbit.

•	New Moon (1 and 9), The moon stands between the sun and the Earth

•	Increasing Moon (2 to 4)

•	Full Moon (5), the earth stands between the sun and the moon

•	**Decreasing Moon (6-8)**

# Effects of the Moon on the earth

•	On a full moon and cloudy, the moon provides quite bright nights. Many people and animals are very active here.

•	Causes the tides, i.e. ebb and flow, and affects shipping and fishing. Full Moon and Storm can lead to severe flooding.

# People on the Moon

From 1969 to 1972 the Moon was entered by people several times. Probably the best-known astronaut is Neil Armstrong, who, with the Apollo 11 flight, was the first person to walk the moon and said, **"a small step for me, but a big step for mankind."** He then worked with Buzz Aldrin for almost a day on the lunar surface.

##### Using a faucet for dash, which I use regularly, I was inspired to write about the moon.
