 The delicious IPA was actually brewed in collaboration with Timber Jim, the retired mascot of the Portland Timbers soccer club. At 7.2% I was feeling pretty good after finishing the 22oz bomber I brought back from Portland. I'd describe this beer as a very typical Northwest IPA. The hop flavor is very forward, but not to the point of being overbearing. There is a subtle sweetness and citrus flavor to this beer as well. Timber Jim was a nice clean, crisp beer, that drank very well on a hot Chicago day.

I like the idea of a sporting team mascot/craft brewery collaboration - makes me wonder why I haven't seen more of these.
