Today I had to stop at the dollar store to pick up a few items.

Four items to be exact.

There was only one register open and,  fortunately for me,  only one person in line at the register.

"Well that's good luck."  I thought to myself.

"It looks like I'll be out of here in just a couple of minutes."

Unfortunately the lady appeared to have about 500 items in her cart.

She was in no hurry.

 It looked as if she bought 10 different versions of every single item that existed in the entire store.

 I started thinking maybe she never leaves the house and then once every year goes and buys a whole boatload of items from various different stores.

Behind me a line started piling up throughout the entire store.

Frustrated customers were everywhere.

After what appeared to be about 20 minutes the lady then told the person at the register that she needed 20 balloons blown up.

I think I stood in line for about a half hour to get my four items.

 The dollar store is a great place to shop but they obviously have to save on labor by not having very many cashiers.

As long as everyone does a reasonable amount of shopping it's usually not a big deal.

Honestly it wasn't as frustrating as it sounds...... but I still got amazed by someone that would buy so many items. Why would you buy everything all at once instead of buying a small amount of items here and there?

She must have had her reasons whatever they were.
