I'm going to be writing a bit more about Steem lately.    This isn't my normal method of posting,   but with a lot of different gears in the works right now,  I think it is a good time to review the system and figure some things out.

I'm actually really liking the changes that were made with Hard Fork 20.

The two biggest changes that I'm noticing are:

1 - The ability to comment as much as you want without that 20 second interval.   This rules.

2 - Resource Credits.  We are already seeing the benefits of resource credits.   Removing some of the tiny bad actors that were scamming and spamming is returning small amounts of Steem to the pool which is increasing it and making our payouts bigger.

Just the other day I was reminded about how much I used to enjoy doing freewrites.    Freewrites are hosted by @mariannewest.  I haven't really done those in a while. I love writing fiction but it is definitely time consuming, and freewrites were a quicker way to jot down some fast fiction and feel good about it.

They don't pay well though. There's no delegation to @freewritehouse.    I wish that there was.

 I'm waiting for something like a fiction based SMT.     I think there's something in the works so I'll just keep waiting.

Delegating to some of the projects that are going to have SMT tokens.

Which ones should we delegate to?

We should delegate to projects that are going to provide us with a reasonable ROI.    Right now we have @dlike and @actifit.    Both of those projects are offering a 1:1 token PER DAY per Steem.  

Delegating 10,000 Steem for one week will result in 70,000 tokens. No one knows what those tokens will be worth but it will likely be less than $0.01.  Maybe way less.

There's a lot of potential for a high payouts of you are delegating to these projects,  but it's also possible any given project could fail making the tokens worthless.

 I'm hoping to delegate to Dtube when the SMT token is announced.   It would certainly be awesome if they had the 1:1 ratio as well.

Those are my thoughts on Steem for today.

You can expect me to be checking out the various Dapps in the near future.   I'm feeling hopeful again after seeing how well the resource credits are working.

 I hope we can continue to see some more positive changes to Steemit in the very near future.
