Time has an edge.

Time.

Probably the most misunderstood thing on the planet.

How do we get more of it? What even is it really?

I can tell you one thing. As I get older, there seems to be less of it. That's because days move by at the speed of light.

It's a difficult thing watching time go by.

It's not always a bad thing.

If it's something that I know I'm not going to enjoy doing, I can say to myself _well it won't last very long._ It really won't last very long.

On the other hand, if there's something that I can't wait to do, I know that won't last very long either.

I do not like the weekends very much. That's because they are not like weekends at all for me. On the weekends I have to be at the restaurant a lot. There's a lot of money to be made on the weekends, but that means a lot of working.

As soon as Friday comes I know that my busy time is about to begin.

It is currently Sunday night. The weekend is already over. I remember when Friday began..... it seemed like about 5 minutes ago.

Tomorrow is Monday, but Friday will be here before I know it.
Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and Valentine's Day will all be here.

Cryptos may rise, cryptos may fall. It's all in the passing of time.

Some might think of time as a soft thing that simply flows around us. Some might think of time as a hard thing that we constantly crash against.

I can't honestly say which of those that it is. I can tell you though sometimes it feels as though....

Time has an edge.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh life in the restaurant!  I knew it well!  Hubby was a chef and there wasn't one holiday that we spent together.  well - Christmas - but it never really seemed like we were spending it .... because it was bookended by late nights at the restaurant!

so glad those days are over!  He still runs a kitchen - but at a camp- so there are busy seasons and SLOWWWWWWWW seasons  (yes!!!!  can you believe it?) hahahaha

I'm at the stage where I kinda like how time is passing.  not too slow, not too fast.  How long can I keep it here???? :)  tell me!!!! i need to know! hahahahaha

You are so right. When I was younger time was so slow, a year took ages. And now? It's September, Autumn and I do remember the Last snowfall as if it were yesterday. 
A short time ago retirement was so far away. And now? Only a few years are left - that has gone so fast!
I still can't await retirement though 😁

It's a difficult thing.   Winter will be here soon and then it will be gone,  and then summer will be here and it will be gone.  All the while people get older and I will get older.

When we are sad time feels like it stopped the struggle period is most tough and when we are happy it feels like it ended so soon. 
Example when we study two our lecture looks lengthy boring. 
But watching Netflix I don't know when Sun rises. 

Happy time passes soon because we want to live in it but sad time don't because every second we want to get out of it

I was a server for a short time and it is tough work. 
Meditation pulls me out of time and what a relief that is.
