On December 15, 2024, Splinterlands concluded the sale of its Rebellion booster packs. This milestone marked the end of an exciting chapter and set the stage for the game’s evolving ecosystem.

**Let's take a look at Rebellion's set features.**


The Rebellion booster packs were more than just a collection of new cards. They also introduced new features that redefined Splinterlands’ strategic gameplay.

## The Impact of the Sale’s Conclusion

**Rarity and Value:** With the Rebellion packs no longer available for purchase, their scarcity is expected to drive up the value of unopened packs and individual cards in the secondary market. This creates opportunities for collectors and investors to benefit from the growing demand.

From what I Know the Rebellion pack sale was about approximately 1,000,000 packs purchased out of 10,000,000 packs.

**Strategic Evolution:** Players who secured Rebellion cards will have unique advantages in battles and tournaments. The set’s innovative mechanics are likely to influence competitive play for months to come.

**Community Dynamics:** The end of the sale fosters excitement and speculation about what’s next. Players are already buzzing about future expansions and updates, keeping the community engaged.

As Rebellion packs become part of Splinterlands’ storied past, all eyes are on what lies ahead. The development team has hinted at ambitious plans, including:

*Conclave Arcana Core Set* to be launched in March or April 2025.

## Chaos Legion Edition Core Set Transition To Wild Format

Chaos Legion's transition to a wild format will set a new beginning of modern format strategic gameplay. Chaos cards are strong editions because they can compete with old edition cards when there is still no modern and wild format in the battle. It's sad to say but Chaos Legion set and its subsidiaries' expansion cards will transition to wild league format when the new core set edition of cards "Conclave Arcana" will be launched in March or April 2025.

This will set a new beginning in modern format and with the limited rebellion packs purchased and opened the value of these packs and cards will go up. And if the team will progress on bringing up more players to the game, I think we can say the demand will be higher than the supply.
