昨天，一个朋友联系我，说他看到我之前拍的荷花照片很不错，问我这附近的荷花现在怎么样了，值不值得拍。他是个摄影爱好者，打算专程来拍些荷花。

我如实告诉他，那些荷花其实是两周前拍的。当时正值荷花盛开的季节，而且没经过大雨。现在过了两个多星期，又经历了一场暴雨，大多数荷花都已经凋谢了，只剩下零星几朵还在开放。更何况，很多荷叶都已经枯萎，莲蓬被摘得七零八落。

他听完我的话，又看了我发去的几张这两天拍的荷花照片，最终决定不来了。因为荷花的数量和鲜艳程度都没达到他的预期。要是他早两周来，一定能拍到满意的作品，这确实是个小小的遗憾。

最近每天散步时，我都能观察到植物的变化。这些天，荷花和向日葵基本上都快开败了，但又出现了新的花朵，比如小雏菊、喇叭花之类的，还有不知名的。不同的季节总有不同的花草轮番登场。

虽然每天的变化很细微，但如果以周或月为单位来看，一切又是大不相同。人也是如此，虽然每天的改变不易察觉，但我确实在慢慢长大、变老。百年之后，我们都将不复存在，冰冷的事实。甚至说我们的地球，几百亿年后，最终也会归于寂静。

而人的一生，相对于浩瀚宇宙的寿命来说，不过是短暂的一瞬，甚至可以说是弹指一挥间。花有重开日，人无再少年。人虽渺小，也是自己的全部世界，珍惜每一天。
