This article is about how to use the API key of Kraken to auto manage your portfolio. What is an API key? The API Key is for auto trading or auto tracking the data from your Kraken account. With the api, you don’t need to give your account name and password to others to keep your assets safe. How to generate the API key? 1 Log in to Kraken (https://www.kraken.com/) , click the account icon at the right top corner and then click settings  2.Find and click “API” and then click "+Generate New Key"  3.Make sure that you have checked these 4 permissions or BitUniverse won't be able to get the data from your api key "Query Funds" , ''Query Open Orders &trades" , ''Query Closed Orders &trades", ''Query Ledger Entries"  4.After you have checked all these 4 permissions, scroll down to the bottom of the page and then click "Generate Key"  5.Now you are able to scan the API Key using BitUniverse to track your portfolio!
