After years of advertising on *Facebook* I can tell you with certainty that ads work extremely well to build up a following. I've built millions of followers [on my page](https://www.facebook.com/jbanfield) over the last several years using *Facebook* ads.

I'm grateful that *Facebook* is giving me hundreds of thousands of people that are seeing my posts for free every week in the news feed, hundreds of thousands of videos for free every week. I think *Facebook* gaming is the very best opportunity to get started from zero or if you have already got a following on *Facebook* to do gaming full-time.

First, we need a basic idea of what we are going to do with the creative on the ads. What I'm doing with the creative on the ads is keeping it super simple, focusing exactly on one specific thing I'm doing consistently in my live streams, one specific game mode, for example, *"Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombie Easter Eggs."*

I'm focusing, laser in on that. 

You need whatever you want to promote ready to go first, and the more specific it is, the more you will be able to get the exact right person liking your page. 

So, right now I actually have just paused all of my existing ads in my account to make way for this and what we are going to do is make a brand new ad campaign in real time for you.

What I will do first is to show you the actual ad I'm going to use for this. 

I recommend using a two-minute video because you can use the beginning of the video to show actual gameplay, a highlight preferably from one of your previous streams, and then use the second half of the video to show people exactly what to do, which is to like the page and to see the post first in the newsfeed, to get live notifications and to actually watch, to start commenting and getting to know you.
