The rosy glow of the predawn sky
Suggests another day is nigh.
Promises of hope and tasks fulfilled,
With hopes that fears are stilled.

No life is promised to be free,
None can expect that pains flee.
Our only task is to live,
To do our best and to give.

We cannot out do our _Maker_,
_His_ plans come foremost.
We can know that we are the Nacre,
That can only be exposed to the _Host_.

Such thoughts seem belittling, but
In truth they are not.
As each day our spirits _He_ is whittling,
To bring us closer to our lot.

_“Fear not, for I am with thee”_
_His_ promise to attend.
