**So I noticed some very interesting and colorful foliage on some plants a few days ago, just around the corner from here, which is across the highway and around the corner from my apartment**
### <center>I decided to walk and get photos</center>
**As I was leaving my apartment, passing the swimming pool enclosure, there was this 
Most unfortunate fellow in the middle of the sidewalk. This was just outside one of the
Adjacent buildings to mine.**

**Flies had just begun to swarm, and he wasn't even dead yet. I couldn't just leave him 
There, so I just picked him up by the tip of his tail, and moved him out to next to the
Main road, no longer close to any of our buildings.**

**If I'd had gloves with me, I might have tried to end his suffering, but alas I did not.
Judging by the nature and location of his injuries, I would venture to say that he'd had a most unfortunate encounter with a car tire**

**After I'd gone across the big street into this complex, I'd already had to stop and catch my breath, then I came on to my nearby and most favorite pizza place, [Your Pie](https://yourpie.com/stores/smyrna/) and I took this photo. My apartment is over that far building, across the street and behind some trees**

**These were the object of my setting out to begin with; I think they are "Red Tips" but I've never seen any with Autumn foliage like this**

**So far, no filters are being used**

**I just can't get over those colors. When I saw these from my car yesterday, I swear the yellow leaves continued farther back up the stems**

**My round trip**
**As I passed him, I checked and our unfortunate friend was no longer moving.
I am very happy his ordeal didn't last much longer than my

otherwise it was the lens that came on the camera.
