I said videos because I recorded myself more than once. Every vlogger has been there, I'm sure. Having discovered some vocal coaches on YouTube, I've been watching their vocal lessons, which has motivated me to improve my voice. One of the things I plan on doing is going to the studio to record a cover or an original song. Yet, this is not necessarily for money, but for the fun and to improve my vocals. It is always a pleasure for me to sing whenever I am asked. A friend of mine who is also on Hive reacted to a video I posted on my WhatsApp status. She said, "Please don't let your talent be here alone, go back to the @hiveopenmic community if you are not back there yet". I replied by telling her that I am always there once in a while. A challenge for me is finding a song that fits the theme for each week. In addition, scoring the lyrics of the song I would love to sing and finally motivation. These things have been my challenge. The last time I participated in the hive open mic contest was when the week the theme was 'NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE'. One of the problems we have is that sometimes people will never be there to help you. In addition, even if I see a vocal coach, the vocal coach will tell me they need one too unless I am willing to pay. He concluded that these days, people no longer offer free services, so the best thing is to use Youtube." I replied by telling him that I wasn't expecting it to be free and youtube has been helping a lot. The first set of vocal lessons I watched motivated me to do a cover of the song **'TITANIUM by SIA'**. It wasn't just about doing the cover but about practicing and improving my vocals after watching the vocal lessons I have been watching. In the video, I uploaded to this post are two videos I made of the same song on different days. The first one was on Friday night and the second was on Saturday morning. The last part of the video after the Titanium song is a sneak peek at the cover I want to do next. It is titled "EASY ON ME", and it is by ADELE.** I'm not planning to call this Titanium cover I did an official cover since I plan to sing the song again until I am satisfied.
