One of the essential things that influence the development of our person is the fact of communication, and to explain the basis of this affirmation I will start from the person who in the history of philosophy is considered to be the first to speak explicitly about the subject. We are talking about *Ludwig Feuerbach* (1804-1872), one of the founders of atheistic humanism and at the same time who laid the foundations of personalism, a philosophical current that is current times seeks to rescue and highlight the value of the person in and of itself.
In the first place, Feuerbach's atheism is born in that his reflection is explicitly directed towards a critique of the religion that he experienced in his life, concluding - making a play on words - that it is not God who created us in his image but that we are the ones who create Him in our image, since we project an idea of what we desire from humanity: justice, wisdom, love, power, etc.
Hence, secondly, what we must do to achieve our fullness is to go out of ourselves out of love in search of others to make community and from there begin to build all together those values that ennoble life and that we once thought were beyond our reach and were only possible to come from a higher being.
Although we do not agree with the basic idea of the author, however, we must grant him that with his perspective he achieves something that is important for all subsequent humanism, and that is that he empowers the human being of the situation, from his approach there would be no excuses for not achieving what we propose since the destiny is in our hands.

Una de las cosas esenciales que influye en el desarrollo de nuestra persona es el hecho de la comunicación, y para explicar el fundamento de esta afirmación voy a partir de quien en la historia de la filosofía se considera comienza explícitamente a hablar del tema. Se trata de *Ludwig Feuerbach* (1804-1872), uno de los fundadores del humanismo ateo y al mismo tiempo quien pone las bases del personalismo, corriente filosófica que en los tiempos actuales busca rescatar y resaltar el valor de la persona en y por sí misma.
En primer lugar, el ateísmo de Feuerbach nace en que su reflexión la dirige explícitamente hacia una crítica de la religión que el experimentó en su vida, concluyendo - haciendo un juego de palabras - que no es Dios quien nos creó a su imagen sino que somos nosotros los que lo que creamos a Él a nuestra imagen, ya que proyectamos una idea de lo que deseamos de la humanidad: justicia, sabiduría, amor, poder, etc.
De allí que, en segundo lugar, lo que debemos hacer para conseguir nuestra plenitud es salir de nosotros por el amor en búsqueda de los demás para hacer comunidad y desde allí empezar a construir todos juntos aquellos valores que ennoblecen la vida y que alguna vez pensamos estaban fuera de nuestro alcance y sólo eran posible vinieran de un ser superior.
Aunque no estamos de acuerdo con la idea base del autor, sin embargo le debemos conceder que con su perspectiva logra algo que es importante para todo posterior humanismo, y es que empodera al ser humano de la situación, desde su planteamiento no habría excusas para no lograr lo que nos proponemos, ya que el destino está en nuestras manos.

More concretely, touching the subject of the importance of communication, of making community in Feuerbach, we can clearly see what it means that the human being achieves his full development in the encounter with the other, which by the way this is communication: it does not refer only to the fact of emitting and receiving information but also in the sense of relating with each other, even without emitting any kind of word.
According to this thinker, it is in the encounter with the other that we realize ourselves as a person because there we become aware of our identity, different from the others with whom we communicate. An example is that as I relate to others I should not lose my personality but rather strengthen it, since I am discovering and experiencing more and more my essence, because although I am similar to others (not only physically but in other ways) I am still different from them.
Therefore, two wonderful things happen in communication:
- The receiver is enriched, as we complement each other, in the sense that our strengths can help the weaknesses of others, as well as vice versa.
- We ourselves are enriched, because we not only give and/or give ourselves to others, but we can find ourselves and value ourselves more in all the fullness of our being, as we discover and manifest our potentialities.

Más concretamente, tocando el tema de la importancia de la comunicación, de hacer comunidad en Feuerbach, podemos ver claramente lo que significa que el ser humano logre su pleno desarrollo en el encuentro con el otro, que por cierto esto es la comunicación: no se refiere sólo al hecho de emitir y recibir una información sino también en el sentido de relacionarnos unos con otros, aún sin emitir ningún tipo de palabra.
Según este pensador es en el encuentro con el otro que nos realizamos como persona porque allí tomamos conciencia de nuestra identidad, diferente de los demás con los cuáles nos comunicamos. Un ejemplo es que en la medida que me relaciono con los demás no debo perder mi personalidad sino afianzarla ya que me voy descubriendo y experimentando cada vez más en mi esencia, pues aunque sea semejante a los demás (no sólo física sino de otras maneras) sigo siendo distinto a ellos.
Por eso, en la comunicación ocurren dos cosas maravillosas:
- Se enriquece al receptor, ya que nos complementamos mutuamente, en el sentido de que nuestras fortalezas pueden ayudar las debilidades de otros, así como a la inversa.
- Nosotros mismos nos enriquecemos, pues, no sólo damos y/o nos damos a los demás sino que podemos encontrarnos y valorarnos más en toda la plenitud de nuestro ser, ya que vamos descubriendo y manifestando nuestras potencialidades.
