Tenía que ir y fui. Hablamos de la imaginación, de la diferencia entre la película y el libro, de grandes inventos como la bicicleta, el avión y las series animadas. Preguntaron por qué a Pinocho le crecía la nariz y la conversación dio para explicar cómo surgió ese libro; recordamos algunos capítulos, reflexionamos partes de sus lecciones y volvimos al tema central del encuentro: los cuentos para niños. Se extrañaron cuando les dije que antes nadie escribía pensando en ellos, que *Caperucita*, *Los tres cerditos* y demás cuentos con lobos fueron inventados para adultos y que en una época sirvieron para meterle miedo a los pequeños. No me creyeron cuando les dije que antes a los niños no se les prestaba mucha atención ni aunque moquearan más que ahora y cuando empecé a contarles cómo se divertían los pequeños de antes no les hizo gracia; y como nos habíamos salido del tema regresamos a la lectura y ahí sí me escucharon sin preguntar.

Eso es lo bueno de hablar con niños, que uno refresca su edad, regresa al pozo de la inocencia y al meterse nada por ese río de ensueños y fantasías donde impera el reino de la felicidad. Fue una tarde sencilla, de esas que nunca se olvidan; con un club de lectura que sí lee y una profesora bonita que cuando habla le brotan flores y por eso los niños la riegan de cariño. 

Gracias al club de lectura *Los Peques*, de la profesora Carla González, quien hizo los videos y nos dio palomitas de maíz; espero que me sigan invitando.

Necesitamos más profes como Carla Gonzalez, que tomen iniciativas así.
