Hello Motherhood, as those of you who have been following my posts know, there is an outbreak of covid in my home. Causing Abigail and Sofia, who have been the least affected, to be separated from the rest of the household members. Today I will relate to you what it has been like to be separated from my daughter and fiancée, living under the same house.


> Hola Motherhood, como ya saben aquellos que han estado al pendiente de mis publicaciones, hay un brote de covid en mi hogar, causando que Abigail y Sofía que han sido las menos afectadas, estén totalmente apartadas del resto de los miembros del hogar. Hoy les relatare lo que ha sido estar separado de mi hija y prometida, viviendo bajo la misma casa.

Of the hardest measures that can exist, I would say that separation under the same roof is by far the cruelest. Because I can hear my daughter crying and not be able to go running to attend to her, to rock her and soothe her, even more so knowing the burden that Abigail has of being the one doing most of the housework right now. 


The doctor told us, that no one but Abigail can take the chores like boiling the water for everyone to drink, or the food where she also eats, since if I do them I can contaminate her, and the baby with covid, instead I pick up the garbage, help to bypass the collection from time to time and the like. 


> De las medidas mas duras que pueden existir, diría que la separación en el mismo techo es por mucho la mas cruel, por que puedo oír a mi hija llorar y no poder ir a corriendo a atenderla, a mecerla y calmarla, aun mas sabiendo la carga que tiene Abigail de ser la que hace la mayoría de las labores del hogar ahora mismo. 

> La doctora nos dijo, que nadie mas que Abigail puede tomar las labores como hervir el agua para todos beber, o la comida donde ella también come, puesto que si las hago yo puedo contaminarla a ella y la bebe de covid, en cambio yo recojo la basura, ayudo pasando colecto de cuando en cuando y cosas similares.

But it's not just attending to her when she needs me, but in helping her start to stand up because now she's trying when she bathes her Abigail has called me to come out to the bath to see her, she's so beautiful I try to stand up straight, she's growing so fast. 


I miss playing with her, squeezing her little cheeks to make angry faces, I miss so many things, and it's only been three days of complete separation, and even more, I miss Abigail since I can't even have a hug with her for the same reason, although recently we hugged through a black plastic bag that I threw away immediately after that. 


Generally speaking, it's been the little things that have affected me the most, I didn't expect it to, and of course, I wasn't the only one, obviously, Abigail has been affected and has let me know, the baby now cries more often too, to my heart's sorrow. 


> Pero no es solo el atenderla cuando me necesita, si no en ayudarla a comenzar a pararse, por que ahora lo esta intentando cuando la baña Abigail me ha llamado para que me asome a la abatea a verla, es tan hermosa que intente ponerse erguida, crece tan rápido. 


> Extraño jugar con ella, apretarle los cachetitos para que me ponga caritas de enojo, extraño tantas cosas y tan solo van tres días de separación completa, y aun mas extraño a Abigail ya que no puedo ni tener un abrazo con ella por la misma causa, aunque hace poco nos abrazamos a través de una bolsa negra que deseche de inmediato posterior a ello. 


> En términos generales han sido las pequeñas cosas las que mas me han afectado animicamente, yo no esperaba que así fuera, y claro no he sido el único, obviamente Abigail se ha sentido afectada y me lo ha hecho saber, la bebe ahora llora mas seguido también, para mayor dolor en el corazón.

Surprisingly, someone we didn't expect to be depressed was Empress Cleopatra, and now she's not only depressed, but she's also greatly affected, constantly spending any chance she gets to be rubbed and cared for, meowing for attention, since mom is no longer available to spoil her like before. 


> Sorpresivamente, alguien que no esperábamos que se deprimiera fue La emperatriz Cleopatra, y actualmente no solo esta deprimida, esta grandemente afectada, pasa constantemente cualquier oportunidad que tiene para que la soben y la atiendan, se la vive maullando pidiendo atención, ya que mama no esta disponible para malcriarla como antes.

Other than those terms, my parents have improved, my dad is out of the thick of the crisis although, he is still on IV antibiotics, my mom has added a third medication, Remisivir, and along with the previous two antibiotics has shown improvement recently. 


My mom has been asking me about the baby for a while now. Since Sofía generated a rash because Abigail took Cetirizine to increase her defenses against Covid, and both mom and I have to suffice with seeing the pictures of the baby taken by Abigail and Isabel, my brother Francisco's wife. 


> Fuera de esos términos, mis padres han mejorado, mi papa ya salio del grueso de la crisis aunque sigue teniendo antibióticos por vía intravenosa, mi mama se le agrego un tercer medicamento, Remisivir, y junto a los dos antibióticos previos ha mostrado mejorías recientemente. 


> Mi mama por ahora me ha preguntado por la bebe, ya que genero un sarpullido por que Abigail tomo Cetirizina para aumentar sus defensas contra el Covid, y tanto mama como yo nos tenemos que bastar con ver las fotos de la bebe tomadas por Abigail e Isabel, la esposa de Francisco mi hermano.

With time, a pediatric anti-allergic and the constant attention of Abigail, the baby has improved a lot, and her health is now stable thanks to God and the pediatricians. 


> Con el tiempo, un anti alérgico pediátrico y la atención constante de Abigail, la bebe ya mejoro bastante, y su salud ya esta estable gracias a Dios y a los pediatras.
