Will we see society change for the better? If society continues on it's path will we survive?  These are more than philosophical questions. The answers are a matter of life or death. It is my personal opinion that we are in trouble as a society. I am old enough now to see the changes in peoples attitudes and it is not promising.

It seems to me that the powers to be have intentionally tried to destroy the family unit. I look at TV, music and the movie industry and I see attempts to encourage family breakdown. For example, is TV different from Leave it to Beaver to Game of Thrones?

Yes. The point I am making is the entertainment industry, in my opinion, has been designed to destroy families and encourage reckless, debauched behavior. A weak society makes it easier for them to control.

Do I have any answers? Kind of, but no one listens it seems. I gave up TV and Hollywood movies 25 years ago. It turned out to be one of my top 5 decisions of my life so far. You can not change people (nor should you, they have to change on their own) but you can change yourself. That is what I have been doing. I have been trying to improve myself for the past 25 years. I am working on being kinder, more patient, calmer, a good listener, sympathetic and not judgmental or self righteous. 

If the world does not respond or improve in it's behavior, at least I know that I tried. I have a clean conscious and sleep well at night (unless I am up late writing a Steemit post, LOL). I can also tell that I am not alone. There are so many worldwide who are great people. These people are much further along than I am. I use these people as examples and mentors. I feel that there is a sea change taking place. More people are awake to false flags and the manipulation of society by the 1%. I see more and more evidence of people helping each other and not falling into the race batting trap that the media would love to stir up.

Just look at the rise of Crypto currencies. Look at the back lash of Google, You Tube, Twitter and Facebook's censorship. People are not falling for it anymore. Steemit is growing in leaps and bounds because of it being decentralized and fair. This is a platform that promotes ideas and inner exchanges of ideas without fear of being banned or financial penalties being imposed.

It would be nice to see families get strong again. It would be nice to see a family of four talking to each other during dinner than all four staring at their smart phones.

I would love to see alternatives to the poison that Hollywood spews out and music that is not controlled by secret societies. It would also be nice to see the military industrial complex be starved the trillions of dollars it gets and that money go towards infrastructure and education vouchers. I am sure you get the point by now. What are your thoughts? Am I unrealistic? Can society get better or will it only be a handful that change? Let me know what your thoughts are.
