I have seen the comment thread about this but I think the pool on PolyCUB will only get 30% or more. I don't think Khal will leave it at 40%+. I think it's a very interesting point you make because these emissions halving are suppose to create scarcity, so as you say, it will be interesting to see if the token increases in value enough to sustain the rate, or if more inflation will be allocated to this particular farm to maintain the APR. polycub has this concept of the pendulum allowing inflation allocation and APR allocation to shape the desired effect. It will soon have governance votes to allow holders to make some of these decisions. So it's going to be very exciting around here.
