As a Splinderlands player myself I can't miss this one :)

My quote this time is from "Chapter 10: The Mindtether - Part 1".

As soon as I red it, I knew it would have been one of my chosen quotes!

What I like most is the progression between one colour and the others, which creates a beatiful (mental) image of the scene.

Junelight assembled the memory of her son, stilling the creeping urge to cry out. It was always so much more intense in the mindtether. Uliyah surfaced, all too real. His round face, his mop of messy black hair. Eyes like hers, almost almond shaped, with the tiniest taper at their edge. Nose like his father’s—wide and short. Smile like no other, a tiny chip in his front left tooth. She worked hard to close the smile into something more neutral, even sad, though it pained her heart. June dirtied his face, and imagined him worn and tired and—drown her in Culdur—a touch malnourished. When she could take no more, she sent her own bulletin, and tagged it with high urgency.

My nose tingled as I read this and just about smelt the ocean myself.

I'm on chapter 3.1 .  I like how you manage a large cast of characters in scenes like this where a lot is happening.  I get good cinematic imagery when reading. 

>The older man’s lip curled, and he sighed out his nose. He walked past, shoulder coming a hair’s breath from smacking into Frix’s. He stood by the river bank. There were no more hunks of wood to be seen. Mossa rolled her eyes.
