If you're "soar", rest up. That's the "cardinal" rule
I was able to capture some macro shots of birds this morning using my Canon camera.

The first set of photos is of a female Cardinal that was perched on a tree. Female Cardinals have more brown and lighter color feathers, as opposed to the brighter red and more recognizable male counterpart.

The second set of photos is of a woodpecker that decided early morning is a perfect time to make a lot of noise. Boy, are they hard-headed (pun intended)!

The last shot is of another bird that flew in to bid good tidings. Beautiful coloring and the voice of an angel!
