Hola, amigos de esta interesante comunidad! Espero que todos estén muy bien. Les doy la bienvenida a mi blog. Como me apasiona las Artes del Fuego, les voy a mostrar este tutorial para hacer un dije de vidrío. En un post anterior escribí sobre la vitrofusión, espero que lo hayan leído y les haya parecido interesante. 

Como soy Venezolana, quise hacer honor a nuestra bandera y exaltar el nacionalismo que llevamos todos en el alma, este sentimiento me motivó y fué así como lleve a cabo este interesante proyecto el cual lo compartiré con ustedes.

Hello, friends of this interesting community! I hope that everybody are very well. I welcome you to my blog. As I am passionate about Fire Arts, I am going to show you this tutorial to make a glass pendant. In a previous post I wrote about glass fusion, I hope you have read it and found it interesting.

As I am Venezuelan, I wanted to honor our flag and exalt the nationalism that we all carry in our souls, this feeling motivated me and that is how I carried out this interesting project which I will share with you.

Without further ado, let's get to work.

Para un dije: 
+ 2 vidrios de 4 mm, medidas 3 cm de ancho por 5 cm de largo. Los pueden mandar a cortar.
+ Vidrio molido color amarillo, azul y rojo
+ Hilo de cobre de .80
+ Pegamento blanco.
+ Horno para vitrofusión o igloo.
+ Alcohol
+ Guantes, Lentes y cortador de vidrio.

For a pendant:
+ 2 pieces of 4mm glass, measures 3cm wide by 5cm long. They can send them to cut.
+ Yellow, blue and red ground glass
+ .80 copper wire
+ White glue.
+ Oven for vitrofusion or igloo.
+ Alcohol
+ Gloves, glasses and glass cutter.

Comenzaremos limpiando los vidrios con el alcohol y un pañito. 
Colocaremos pegamento blanco  y con una pinza haremos una U con el alambre, el cual lo pegaremos  sobre el vidrio.

We will place white glue and with a clamp we will make a U with the wire, which we will stick on the glass.

Ya seco y pegado el alambre, le colocamos pegamento blanco al vidrio y comenzaremos a esparcir el primer color,  en este caso el amarillo para simular la bandera de Venezuela, seguidamente el color azul y posterior el rojo y haremos como una especie de sándwich al colocarle el  otro vidrio.

Con mucho cuidado lo llevamos al horno a una temperatura de 600 grados centígrados. Con la finalidad de que se fundan los vidrios entre si.

Una vez frio el horno, se retira la pieza ya lista,  se lava con jabón y a lucir  este espectacular dije.

Once the oven is cold, the ready piece is removed, washed with soap and this spectacular pendant is worn.

Hola, si esté es un horno que se llama igloo y te permite fundir piezas Peq. Sobre todo para joyería. También están el horno para vitrofusion que son más grandes.
