The release of the @splinterlands Governance Token $SPS saw a surge in the game which none of us were ready for, Developers included. From less than 100 000 players to over 1 million in a few months.

With the game developers planning a number of game changing future updates (such as releasing #presold Land into the gaming architecture) the future of #Splinterlands appears bright.

#Axieinfinity does not have the allure that it once did as the dominant #play2earn game on the #Blockchain...To be honest, it's just not that fun to play! If the Splinterlands devs listen to thir players and continue to evolve the game, Splinterlands is nicely poised to topple Axie Infinity and become the dominant P2E game on the #blockchain
