I finally got round to claiming my Bitcoin Cash. I was going to keep hold of it but I've been interested for a while in sites like Bittrex and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try my hand at a bit of crypto trading since the BCC was literally free money.

When I first transferred my 0.5 BCC into my Bittrex BCC wallet I wasn't sure what to do. I thought I had wasted my time and would need to transfer it back again but then I thought, "What reasonably new blockchain based social media platform has guides on every topic known to man?" and it hit me like a train. Steemit !!!!!

20 mins later and I had managed to work out how to place a sell order for 0.4 BCC (I didn't want to get rid of all of my BCC just in case) for BTC to enable me to buy some alt coins.

As I said, I'm new to this so my choices of coin have been based on a scan of the posts under the cryptocurrency tag on Steemit and a brief look at the whitepapers (probably a couple of hours of research in total). The Elastic project coin for the decentralised supercomputer particularly interests me.

I got a bit carried away and transferred another 1.5 LTC I was holding on Coinbase as the 0.5 BCC was spent too easily. I'm going to leave it there for a bit as that is the limit of what I am willing to lose.

Anyway, here's a screenshot of the coins I bought with my 0.5 BCC (and 1.5 LTC) . Any help/advice is always welcome/appreciated.
