Spot on good sir. Good job pointing out what should be (*but often isnt*) obvious, that catcalling doesn't work, everyone knows it doesn't work, so why do it? If getting the woman to approach you and reciprocate your desires isn't the point at all, but rather the point is to exert yourself over her in some small petty insecure way by making damn sure she knows your ogling her.... in which case you are a prick.
