If you’re the disorganized type who often does things when you remember them, then fixing this is one of the first steps to being a better marketer. You have plenty of things to remember and organize, after all! Bullet journaling is essentially a system of journaling what you have done and what you will do, allowing you to efficiently organize your time, thereby boosting your productivity and organization, which means you can better hit your goals. 

Now, the great thing here is that there are no real rules, but for many people, adding a dash of creativity is key. Pick a journal that’s a size you’re comfortable with – you can either make your own, or look for gorgeous journals already available online.

Once you’ve got your journal, it’s time to actually start the process. Now, I advocate just starting. There’s no need to aim for perfection, especially at first, so just start. Play around with it a bit, and don’t worry if your handwriting looks like spider’s legs.

One of the first things you should do is schedule your bullet journaling time – remember, the whole point of this exercise is to get organized! Now, what a lot of people like to do is create artwork to go with their journals, so you may want to do that also. It’s fun, it’s relaxing, and if you spend all day in numbers and graphs, it’s a great chance to finally take your creative side out for a walk. 

Another thing to mention is that you should have permanent spreads in the back – that’s stuff that you more or less want to commit to on a frequent basis, such a daily. This means that you know where your regular stuff is, but you can really go to town with the art and graphics present in your main journal.
