Here’s How To Get Published On Forbes And The Huffington Post – PART 1

Whether you like or hate Forbes and the Huffington Post (HuffPo), you can’t deny that they are huge online resources that the internet just wouldn’t be the same without. But did you also know that you can easily contribute to them?

This news should excite you, as these pages are very well regarded and have a high following; imagine the power and traffic that can give you and your niche site – not to mention the credibility and authority it grants you in your niche.

It’s a no-brainer, showering you with benefits. One word of advice though: your content will need to be top-rate, so if you’re not a great writer, strongly consider hiring the services of a professional writer to create something that really shines. Sure, it’ll cost – but lie back and think of all that juicy traffic…

Forbes requires you to have an area of expertise and stick to it if you’re a vetted contributor, and editors may make changes. You can apply to be a contributor. You’ll need to show your Twitter and LinkedIn profiles, as well as ideas about your area and page subject along with writing examples and why you’re qualified. 

Alternatively, if you just want one article, you can submit an article to opinion@forbes.com. Length doesn’t matter, but the content needs to be original, and cannot be used anywhere else. It’ll take a few days for them to decide. If you don’t hear back within the week, assume that they’re not interested. At this point, you can try again, or you can move on.
