"Bitcoin to the Moon!!!" I cannot tell you how many times I've heard this phrase uttered over the course of the last year. It did not seem believable, but now the reality has set in. 

If we were to plot the route of Bitcoin, then it has clearly surpassed the moon. The shuttle was long ago fueled and launched, with the explorers successfully landing on the moon. When i purchased my first Bitcoin, it was about $980.00 . At the current time, it it at $4543.00. That is nearly 5x of what i had originally purchased. Comparing it to space travel, We'd already be on the moon and launching more towards Mars. The astronomical rise is victory in the currency war, but a casualty is obvious: The US dollar.

Ever since 1971, the United States has been off the gold standard. Our currency, the USD, has lost an incredible amount of its ability to retain value and purchasing power. Another often cited statistic, courtesy of the Department of Labor, is that wages have remained stagnant since 1973. What a coincidence !!!! Lack of value and an infinite supply of fiat currency has accelerated the demise. Doesn't help that politicians continue with their reckless policies and Central bankers looting our Treasury and savings deposits on Wall Street.

The main point that I'm trying to get out is that the current system we have is slowly becoming less and less relevant.The American comedian Bill Hicks said: "The state, church and everything else is failing. Why? Because they are no longer relevant. We're supposed to keep evolving. Evolution did not end with us going opposable thumbs. You do know that, right? There's another 90 percent of our brains that we have to illuminate."

The next evolution will begin. It is slowly unfolding day by day, week by week.
