I should have listened when my mind told me not to give it a second look, not to even think about it, I should have listened. I wouldn't have passed through this stress if I had gathered all the clues and put them together, but funny enough I it was quite clear, I just choose to ignore and decided to give it a trial. What's there to loose... hmm but I lost my time during all this and time is very valuable if I must be sincere.

I got this information like a week ago before I returned home, just a first glance at it, I kept it aside because I considered it to be one of those government empowerment program that was just for publicity sake. I continued with my normal daily activity and was also in the look out for a job which will keep me going with my expenses. Recently when I returned home, I got a call from my sister inquiring about that same empowerment program, I decided to visit the office of collection of the form yesterday but it turns out that the queue was too much and the process of collection and submission is a time wasting process.

>Obtuve esta información como hace una semana antes de regresar a casa, solo un primer vistazo, la dejé a un lado porque lo consideré uno de esos programas de empoderamiento del gobierno que era solo por motivos publicitarios. Continué con mi actividad diaria normal y también estaba en busca de un trabajo que me permitiera continuar con mis gastos. Recientemente cuando regresé a casa, recibí una llamada de mi hermana preguntando por ese mismo programa de empoderamiento, ayer decidí visitar la oficina de recolección del formulario pero resulta que la cola era demasiada y el proceso de recolección y envío es un proceso de pérdida de tiempo.

Due to the unemployment rate in Nigeria, as my sister who directed my interest into collecting the form can't participate due to distance, I decided to give it a trial. I spent some hours there yesterday observing to understand how the process works and in other to be among the first set of people to be called, I have to be among the first 50persons and that means arriving at the office at or before 6am.

>Debido a la tasa de desempleo en Nigeria, como mi hermana, que dirigió mi interés a recoger el formulario, no puede participar debido a la distancia, decidí probarlo. Ayer pasé unas horas allí observando para entender cómo funciona el proceso y en otras para estar entre el primer grupo de personas en ser llamado, tengo que estar entre las primeras 50 personas y eso significa llegar a la oficina a las 6 am o antes.

Waking up this morning to get to the office in other to document my name was really stressful. I wasn't ready to wake at that time, I only needed more sleep but I just had to pick myself up and get ready to go out. After writing and waiting for some hours, I got an information that the empowerment is strictly for the indigenes of the state and not a federal offer.

>Despertarme esta mañana para ir a la oficina en otro lugar para documentar mi nombre fue realmente estresante. No estaba listo para despertarme a esa hora, solo necesitaba dormir más pero tenía que levantarme y prepararme para salir. Después de escribir y esperar algunas horas, recibí una información de que el empoderamiento es estrictamente para los indígenas del estado y no una oferta federal.

I had already made up my mind to walk away when my friend advised I should stay a while and collect the form before living.  I was also discouraged from collecting the form because I wasn't an indigene of the state, but still I was still positive about it and it turns out that after all the time standing and waiting for the announcement, I later tog to know that it's only eligible to indigenes of the state. 

Now it's all a wasted time, leaving me tired, stress and sleepy.

>Ya había decidido alejarme cuando mi amigo me aconsejó que me quedara un tiempo y recogiera el formulario antes de vivir. También me desanimé de recolectar el formulario porque no era un indígena del estado, pero aún así era positivo al respecto y resulta que después de todo el tiempo de pie y esperando el anuncio, más tarde supe que es Solo elegible para indigenas del estado.

Ahora es todo un tiempo perdido, dejándome cansado, estresado y con sueño.
